[Question] Importing M2 into 3ds Max?

I have researched how to import M2's int 3ds Max. For that I needed the MAXScripts, and now I have them. I tried to use it on 3DS Max 7 only it didnt work (and gave an error when I tried in Gmax).
My question is: What version of "3D Studio Max" do I need for this script?"

I've got 3ds Max 7 and I know there is 3ds Max 9. But which one works with it?

I downloaded a program called milkshape 3d chUmbaLum sOft Basically find the file in wowmodelviewer, export it as a .Ms3d , open the files in Milkshape then export them as a .3ds , open in 3ds Max and edit.

    Hope I answered your question.

Those MAX scripts won't work with the new m2 format.

Thanks Alot! But if I convert it to Ms3d it just copies the model without copying the emote's like talk and stuff. Is there away to convert it with the emote's? ( I know I can do the emote and save it to a ms2d, frame by frame but that takes to long).

If you export it from 3.* M2s: No.

The easiest thing to do would be to update the MAX import scripts.
