I just grabbed all three because when i clicked the link they were all downloaded together into one file. figured it wouldn't matter as long as i had the correct one within the group. i just removed all the files, including official Rexp itself, and started from the beginning only grabbing era files plus redownloading rexp manually aswell. extraction issue is solved too and all made sure their was no saved variables either. life is good it worked. thanks to both of u for clearing up my issue. first time trying this sort of stuff and i got fairly lost a few times. you are both clear and precise. thanks a million

I've downloaded the Classic Guides (Cata/MOP), but they are not showing Ingame. I've moved them inside my Interface/RestedXP/Guides/ folder. as I've done in the past but its not working.

Did the import logic change? I've tried moving the .toc file to my base RXP folder and the .lua (classic1/2) folder to my Guides Folder and import it ingame, didnt work either?

Extract to the addons folder.
Why do people not read that and why do people not do that? Then wonder why it does not work.

Then i must've mistaken it. When i previously downloaded RXP Guides from Ownedcore I downloaded the guides that we imported into the basic RXP. I'll try that, thanks!

Well to be fair the method to import them was the same for a long time so its not uncommon you'd assume its the same. OC/EPVPer descriptions are often extremely scarce, so extract to addons could just mean its the previous import-logic.

I'm not the only one who assumes this based on previous posts, I think one or two how to import sentences would save you a lot of questions.
Anyways, it works fine now, thanks for the upload.

Extract to addons

So I ask this, do you usually take things and do not read how to use it?
Seems others do the same.

Took 1 person 20 hours and 60+ replies, just to say they did not read the post and claimed they were right and the addon did not work.

Add to that

Before, people could not extract to a folder and overwrite.
They would go to the folder, delete the guides. Extract my file,. then complain the guides they deleted were not there.

Am I picking a fight? Do I have any reason to no.
So do not accuse me of something I have not done and are not doing. So you can act the victim and have an excuse for you taking something and not reading.

Let me answer what you do not.

It hasnt been like that for a long time, and if you read recent posts there are countless posts about how to properly install it. Its literally written 6 times in the last 4 pages here.

I dont think its fair at all to assume something, when there is very simple instructions to follow.

Its written in the very first post. Extract to addons. How many more times does that need to be written in the post?

Then it says delete saved variables if you used it before. Thats all you need to know to have the addon working perfectly. And if you for some reason still have issues, read the latest pages. pr search in the forum!

It can be very frustrating when one just click the link and Assume everything. Follow instruction! If its short, and a one liner, it is because it is that simple

Then you have a reason to complain that it does not work.
