Sorry to state the obvious
You install ERA For Vanilla, HC, SOD, Anniversary
You add addons to ERA
You run ERA
You use the ERA guides
You install Classic for MOP
You add addons to Classic
You run Classic
You use the Classic guides
You install Retail
You add addons to Retail
You run Retail
You use the Retail guides
Sounds pretty simple right? So why do people intentionally take the wrong guide is beyond me.

If you are talking about addon version, just do like the post says, and install the most recent rested xp from curseforge

Its crazy to me, that you dont write a simple, keep version x.x from the addon in your folder and dont update. Instead u always act, like someone is offending you. My question was pretty simple since currently the guides are not working properly. If u really think that your "explanation" is worded good, i can tell u its not. But hey still thanks for your work i guess. Still doesnt make u a nice guy after all.

Sorry for trying to get some help.
after looking inside all the files "Classic" seems to have 1-70 and 1-80 so hopefully they are the ones I need to work for TBC and WOTLK (they are coming and im preparing, sorry again!)
"Era" as you mentionned only has 1-60 , hardcore and SoD
Again sorry to be asking for a little help and thanks again for hosting these files
Nice scarf btw

Ok what is with the attitude?
My addon is version 1 and if you checked it is version 1.
The addon has no changed so why would I change the version?
The files have not changed, so why would I change the version
Yes it would be crazy to you, dictating when you never gave anything.
Oh it is not working properly and you do not tell me what the problem is?
So you really expect me to know what you have done when you do not tell me? Yea that is creazy right.
Oh it is not worded good?
How many times have you manually installed an addon?
It is the same way.
But for some reason to you, the same way that you know you do something different.
Since 2004 over 25,000 addons and over 20 billion installs and everyone did it the same way, if it was manually installed.
You clearly have installed it manually. So I ask you 1 thing, if you can install an addon manually. Why can't you install it the same way?
Well you do not want to say what you did and why? It would be admitting you did wrong.
But you expect me to know what you did, WHEN YOU DO NOT EVEN SAY!

You dont need to keep it at "version x.x" the guides provided are separate from the addon itself. They are simply loaded by Rexp, so keep updating it like you normally do with your addons. Download it normally from curse. Put the downloaded file into the addon folder, just like a separate addon, and it will load in the guide menu, like it normally would. Update as much as you want. REXP cant break this crack, since its a selfmade guide, it would make it illegal if they did.
If its not stated that you need version X.X its because it doesnt matter

But I do not now if you are playing official servers or private servers.
For the simple reason official servers will throw a lot of errors.
Private server you need the old addon. Seeing people download the latest addon for Cata and wonder why it does not work on Wrath.

@Knotteliten Good point and a good post.
Also it is illegal for those Devs to exploit the BN account and also exploit peoples legal information as well.

Yeah the devs are scumbag, hence why it feels amazing to stick it to them with a cracked version!
But In general, If you have issues with rested xp, contact rested XP, if you play on private servers, or other, contact REXP to get the addons working.
What is provided in this post is a the guides for Era, Sod, Classic and Retail. Download the guides for the version you play, and download REXP from curseforge like any other addon.
Install the guides downloaded as a separate addon, this prevents it from beeing deleted on update, aswell as it lets you use any version of the rexp addon itself. Its very very simple to use. Just download, put in the folder, and get the official addon from wherever you want
If you play on unofficial servers, you need to talk to REXP team to get an addon that is supported, or try to modify the ToC file to load for game version, and edit the lua.
What you download in this thread is the GUIDE, NOT the addon itself.

They do not support private servers.
All people need to do is get the old addon and then get old guides and add them to it.
My main issue is, releasing something that is broken and paid for.

Ah yeah. Like I noticed I still had the 1-80 guide in my download section from rexp, but its very broken to actually import aswell. So sad that they give such poor support, and even rereleases requires updates.

Yeah like I know they do inform on Discord, but for someone like me, I played 8 months without knowing there was an update, and what it contained.
They do update their addons, its super easy to just make a text chat appear ingame, that checks if you have the most recent guide. Could just say: "Hey, you have a newer version of the guide available". But hey money speaks

Good point.
Would be a good incentive to say
Guides updated, these changes.
People would think it is supported, updated etc
More people would use and buy it.
Also make the cost worth it.
Over, buy and never be told at all.

Yeah, Those that bought the MoP guides now, Only has the Version date to go by on the webside itself. If you use the 12th July version, you wont get lvl 90. if you use the most recent (17th July version) you get to 90. Its a massive difference. Tho I do like that they added Daily Quest options, and some rep guides. but still.
But Its amazing the work you do. It lets alot of people experience REXP without paying, and its a blessing for new releases like MoP, and other game version! So keep providing the guides, you have carried more people to max level than you will ever realise!
