Hey, thanks so much for posting this. im having a little trouble with manually downloading these files, i grabbed what i thought was the correct link and extracted into addons along with rexp itself from curseforge, both are in there and rexp seems to work but i dont have any further guides after lvl 20. appreciate the time and effort you've put into this thread! you have mentioned something about deleting savedvariables a few times. just wondering what that is, tried looking up that name in my files and nothing comes up

You do not say what you are playing or what you downloaded.
Also if you had the addon before.

Yeah, Those that bought the MoP guides now, Only has the Version date to go by on the webside itself. If you use the 12th July version, you wont get lvl 90. if you use the most recent (17th July version) you get to 90. Its a massive difference. Tho I do like that they added Daily Quest options, and some rep guides. but still.

But Its amazing the work you do. It lets alot of people experience REXP without paying, and its a blessing for new releases like MoP, and other game version! So keep providing the guides, you have carried more people to max level than you will ever realise!

Saved Variables are inside your wow/version(classic if classic)/WTF/Account/Accountname/Savedvariables/Rexpguides <- delete this.
if you have Rains folder downloaded, extract it to addon folder like other addons. You can open the. .toc file and manually enter the game version (mop classic is 50500) if it still doesnt load after variable delete. If not it may ask some for loading out of date.

but thats it, it should load, if you have placed it inside the correct addon folder.
Your addon folder should look like this
Addons
-RXPGuides
-RXP Levling (No zip, no rar. the actual folder)

downloaded the most recent classic rxp and only has mop 1-60 does yours have up to level 90?

if you have downloaded the latest RXP Levling folder, and placed it in addons next to the RXP addon itself, you have up to level 85.
You need to be patient for Rain to release the newest update to 90. It takes alot of work to decrypt and make separate guides.

Why would it be 1-60 for, when the guides are 1-85

I know for some of my friends, ## Interface: 40402 no longer loads for mop classic, but worked after ## Interface: 50500

It shouldnt matter, but it did for some, so maybe that can help some?

OIk 2 things, load out of date addons would work anyway.

Also, I have no idea why you have 1-60, when the guides are 1-85 unless you did something

have not had the addon before, playing on classic anniversary servers. i just noticed when i extracted the rxp files into addons folder it wont actually extract them. i have RXP Leveling classic, Rxp Leveling Era and RXP Leveling Retail in my addons but still compressed. when i try to extract them again i get a wizard popup saying "An unexpected rror is preventing the archive from being extracted. unspecified error"

Use 7zip or winrar (or unarchiver for mac os)

Ok you have classic anniversary servers.

You installed Era
You added addons to Era
You load the era client.

So why did you take Classic and retail and expect them to work on anniversary?

As for your error, if you just looked it up, then it would have said

So why did you take Classic and retail and expect them to work on anniversary?

I just grabbed all three because when i clicked the link they were all downloaded together into one file. figured it wouldn't matter as long as i had the correct one within the group. i just removed all the files, including official Rexp itself, and started from the beginning only grabbing era files plus redownloading rexp manually aswell. extraction issue is solved too and all made sure their was no saved variables either. life is good it worked. thanks to both of u for clearing up my issue. first time trying this sort of stuff and i got fairly lost a few times. you are both clear and precise. thanks a million

ya my b should of clarified, cata shows fine but for mop it shows 1-60 i didn't know if it was just the guide wasn't updated yet or I did something wrong

oh i see yah im in no rush just didnt know if i did something wrong but that makes sense @Bandicoot666
