i downloaded it and extracted it using winrar to the addons folder

7zip is free.

Most of the time people never update winrar of anything they use.
Then use old software on a new file and expect it to work.

When 7zip has no issues extracting it.

something is different as when i use the guide config as when i use the guide config i see all the dungeons there instead of just the first 3 but under the lvling guide i only see 1-22

I have no idea what you mean by guide config.
You right click and the guides show

i tried it with 7zip still the same dude. All i need is the top folder? im deleting the saved variables extracting ur folder in there hitting yes to replace all then booting up the game and all i see is 1-22 still im unsure what im doing incorrectly

All people need to do

Install via curseforge
Download my file and extract to the addons directory

This is what most people do

Go to link, select the file and download.

This is what others do.

Go to link, download the whole directory, which zips it. Extracts the zip and put the rar in the addons directory. Then spend hours complaining it does not work.

Sorry to be like that, but that is what people do.

No issues at all because it is working for everyone else.

Are you clicking download folder or download?

You should have downloaded a RXP leveling.rar and extract to the addons directory, that's it.

Thanks for sharing and for all your work! I have a quick question.
I've already downloaded CurseForge and added the RestedXP addon. Now, after downloading and extracting your "Leveling Guides, Extract to Addons" file, what should I do next?
Should I simply copy and paste your file into my RestedXP addon folder, or do I need to replace an existing file within the addon folder?

Yes, I deleted all of the saved variables which had "RestedXP" in their name in the WTF folder.

Yes, I deleted all of the saved variables which had "RestedXP" in their name in the WTF folder.

Here's what's happening:

New users:
Download and install the addon via CurseForge updater.
Download the leveling guides and extract them using 7zip or WinRAR into the addons directory.
They don't face any issues.

Returning users:
For some reason, they are placing the RAR file (unextracted) in the wrong directory.
They then come back saying it's not working.
The issue arises because they update the addon without deleting their previous saved variables, which causes corruption when installing on top of the old version.

I could recommend deleting the "WTF" folder or saved variables and starting fresh, but that would result in losing their settings, which isn't ideal.

If users followed the original installation instructions, there would be no issues. It seems that the problem stems from where the files are placed in the folder.
