TLDR

people are saying my broken guide is broken REEEEEEEE im going to keep crying spewing brain rot nonsense instead of fixing it because im mad. Go ahead and delete this thread lil bro we already found an alternative.

That same alternative as my same file On another forum in my thread.

Well seeing everyone else has the same file they have the same result.

That is the thing right, how can they sell something they know has issues.

Can anybody post me a short guide on how to install this, i can't figure it out.

I deleted The rested experience addon i had where i leveled to lvl 20 with.
I clicked the "RXP Guides installer | link", and installed the latest classic version with the install button that goes to curseforge ( i play on the new classic servers )
I deleted all saved variables from all locations in my wtf account.

Now the guide is completely empty

Edit i figured it out

So basically
1) "RXP Guides installer | link " u click on the link, and install the rested exp addon
2) download "Era-Hc-SOD-Classic-Cata-Retail Guides | link" download the addon and drag the folder into addon folder in wow.
3) Deleted veriables in all area's of rested exp in WTF folder.

U are good to go.

Maybe somebody in the future has use for it.

Why is it so hard to
Install an addon
Download my file and extract it to the addons directory?

I did the same. You can see it on the screenshot. I took it out of the archive and put it in the addons folder.

when you load WoW, do you have "load out of date addons" checked? click on "ADDONS" IN THE CHARACTER SELECTI9ON WINDOW

if you do NOT have it checked, you'll see THIS PROBLEM:

YOU MUST CLICK "LOAD OUT OF DATE'. ITS NOT THE DEFAULT. Personally it worked for me cuz I already had this selected. Im guessing many ppl also have this selected, other ppl dont.

I download it yesterday. I'm using Classic not retail btw. It shows up as outdated on Classic and not outdated in Retail

Is there no 20-60 survival guide anymore? I updated rxp on curseforge and the previously working files stopped working. I deleted the addon and all rxp saved variables in the classic_era folder, including in my individual character folders, redownloaded from the link, and the link's file name has changed from Guides to RXP Levelling, and now there is no survival folder so I figured it would just be the HC folder. After extracting the HC folder file contents into the addon's Survival folder, they don't show up in-game. I renamed the files to align with the survival lua files (added 'H-Classic-' in front of 'Horde-20-60.lua', and 'A-Classic-' in front of 'Alliance-20-60.lua'), but it still doesn't show up, so I'm guessing these are not compatible with the survival guide?

Just want to say it works great, classic hardcore server, downloaded main addon from curseforge and dropped the RXPCampaigns on AddOns folder. They show up ok and works great, level 21 already and the survival guide is just working great.

It shows up for me. just move the entire RXP Leveling to the top level addons directory. then make sure that both the RXP Guides and the RXP Leveling addons are selected in the ingame addon selection. then run the configuration tool in rxp

Brother, thank you so much. I couldn't see this information posted anywhere, so you've made my day. It is finally working again after 3 hours of trying.
