    when i try to start wowmapeditor_0.16 theres an error that says : this application has failed to start because SDL.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
    i already tryd reinstallin it but same thing pops up

    last lines of my log
    Error: Cannot initialize OpenGL extensions.
    Missing required extensions:
    GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object
    GL_ARB_multitexture

    SDL.dll needs to be with the executable..

    Get one of the other versions, then drag .16 in there and it should work.

    looks to me like 0.16 is very buggy.. best to use 0.14 probably.

    See his tutorial:
    7 ) Open your folder with the 2.3.3 version of World of Warcraft.

    8 ) Find a folder called "World", open it.

    9 ) There's a folder called "Maps", open it.

    9.1 ) Inside, maps, there's a folder called "Azeroth" (shown on picture in step 9.) , Open the folder "Azeroth".

    10 ) There should be file called "Azeroth_31_56.adt". (Look on picture in step 9.1)

    11 ) Now, download "My Warcraft Studio" (Credits: Demonkunga) .

    12 ) Now, open Mywarcraftstudio.exe, and click on "Create MPQ Archive"

    12.1 ) Save the MPQ in your 2.3.3 World of Warcraft\Data folder - Name it "Patch-3".

    13 ) Click on "Add file to archive".

    14 ) First, click on the "..." signs .

    15 ) Find the "Azeroth" folder, located in the "World\Maps\".

    16 ) Select the "Azeroth_31_56" .

    17 ) Do not click OK yet - Do EXACTLY what the picture tells:
    very import Notes
    The file path is:
    World\Maps\Azeroth\Azeroth_31_56.adt

    18 ) Now, click OK, then click the Save Button.

    19 ) Download the Model Edit Fix 2.3.3
    hxxp://rapidshare.com/files/82919044/WoWME.rar.html

    20 ) Put it into your World of Warcraft version 2.3.3 folder, and run ModelEditFix.exe, and enjoy your new NoggIt'ed version of WoW!

    make sure to include the wdl and wdt for that area or it will show up as empty..

    This looks like something i could have a lot of fun with but when i try to start it up i get this error "Error: Cannot initialize OpenGl extensions." Does anyone have any idea what this means or how to fix it?

    My log says this

    Opening C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoWTest\Data\enUS\patch-enUS-3.MPQ
    Error opening archive C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoWTest\Data\enUS\patch-enUS-3.MPQ

    And then the lastline of it says

    Error: Cannot initialize OpenGL extensions.
    Missing required extensions:
    GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object

    This is very simmilar to a problem someone else mentioned but not exactly.

    P.s Im using .16 (drug the Wowmapeditor file into .14 like someone stated to do above)

    1 OpenGL Requirements:
    OpenGL 1.5 or OpenGL 2.0
    for use shader,your graphic card needs OpenGL 2.0

    the requirements inherits the wow map viewer:
    support this:
    GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object
    GL_ARB_multitexture
    GL_ARB_vertex_program
    GL_ARB_fragment_program

    if no, you may meet "Error: Cannot initialize OpenGL extensions."

    2 Tools to see your OpenGL Info:
    you can use this one to see your card OpenGL info:
    OpenGL Extensions Viewer

    Download:
    ftp://ftp2.realtech-vr.com/realtechv/pub/glview300.zip

    Displays information of the current OpenGL 3D accelerator.
    OpenGL Extensions Viewer runs on Windows, Windows x64 and MacOS X

    Ok so i think your saying that i need to install OpenGl.

    I instaled it and its a bunch of file things and im not sure were to put it or what to do with it. Could someone please give me some advice about what to do, or show me a thread or something that explains it.

    OpenGL has implemented in your Graphic Card,you need not install it.
    You can just use
    OpenGL Extensions Viewer
    to see your Graphic Card OpenGL version.
    If your card support OpenGL 1.5 100% and OpenGL 2.0 100%, then your pc can run the editor.

    Ahh, I see the problem now. Thanks, for your help, my graphic card just sucks and dosent support Gl.

    Oh well, guess its time to buy a new one!

    .16 is really buggy, and for some reason, doesnt have the WME manipulation/spawner as promised... hmmm back to .14 i suppose
