Hello there, I tried to use the attachment editor at first. I can change the location on all of the 35 available attachments. I can't however change the scale on any of the attachments. I've tried with all races male/female and it's not possible. I'm using Vista so I have also tried running it as administrator.

And when it comes to the cloning part, I get an error that looks like the following:

System.FormatException: The inputsignal had a incorrect format at. System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal)
at System.Number.ParseDouble(String value, NumberStyles options, NumberFormatInfo numfmt)
at System.Double.Parse(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info)
    at ..(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e)
    at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e)
    at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent)
    at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks)

    at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
thought it would've been useful to you. Peace!

edit: Tried to change as many swedish words into english as possible.

Having a problem with Obj -> M2, used the old version to change an M2 file that is non-WOTLK compatible into an Obj, then tried using the new MES to change it into a compatible M2 file. I continually get a message saying wrong file format number 2, how to I format it correctly?

Yeah Gal Im having the same issue, but this is when I use the program Art of Illusion (w/plugin to support import and export of .m2 files) to import as an .m2 export as and .obj and then make edits with 3ds max 2009 since most guides are for 3ds max. When I use the new MES to covert back to .m2 I get "wrong file format number 2". So I tried just doing the tutorial with the stealth to see if that would work but the models shows up in the game invisible, zoom out and in nothing. I think one person said a fix was updating mes and changing system language, but my language was already set to English US

Edit: It was actually the scaling, I tried it with "1" as the scale for the stealth and it showed up as my night elf the size of a squirrel.
    Success!

Edit: Im using 3ds Max 2009 for the OBJ Export Options I use:

Geometry: Faces: Triangles, Textures coodinates *checked*, Normals *checked*
Scale 1.0 (wonder if this has anything to do with the size?)
    Output: PC/Win *since I use a pc w/ windows
    Percision:4
Write log to export: *checked and thats about it.
    Export

    Export
In the video i say to put the scale at 0.005
I have changed the way the program works
there is no longer a "scale" but a max bounds
You can leave the max bounds at 3 for this example

i did this because scaling would change based on each model
but with the max bounds its a type of auto scaling making the model only as big as the max bounds. Most character models max bounds are 2.

You have to set your original race/gender as the work file, once that's been extracted the option to do a race swap opens up.

Glitchy, is there any plan to add animation speed editing? (Tauren to night elf + size edit still leaves a sloooooow run speed.) Have I just overlooked it? Can I use your old version to do it (and if so, is that still available for download?)

    Thanks.

Great work there Glitchy, but to be honest, this version suck d*ck. Since it's way to complicated for an avarage joe like myself. The only thing I mange to do without getting fifty error messages is to swap race. Helfix, creature to player is something I can not do. I think the old one was alot better, although this one has alot more features for THE better ones.

I'm trying to make a tool that can suite many people. My goal is to make a tool for beginners and advance users.

It is not hard at all to understand this program. If you cant understand how to select a file then swap to another file then i cant help you. I'm not going to dumb down my app any more and take away from other features.

I guess I have the same problem that Xel has.

I was trying to do this with your "Tutorial" files

    Code:
See the end of this message for details on invoking

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I hope there is a fix for it.

I just added this to the FAQ this should help you

    Q. I get an Error With the text "System.Number.StringToNumber"
    A. This is most likely because you are running a none US system.

Solution: Try using decimals instead of commas for your numbers ex: "3.1" instead of "3,1"
If this doesn't work try the following steps.
    1. Start By clicking on Start, Settings/Config, Control Panel, Regional and Language Options,
    2. Fill Each Tab to Say "English (USA)" Apply your settings you might have to Restart your computer

i'm doing EVERYTHING correct. Putting the MPQ file in the Data folder, using the MEF correctly ect...
there was recently a small patch check if you have the most up to date MEF.

Works, even though, just by changing the sign of the decimal in the language option - helps
