[Question] Reskinning Legs, chest, gloves

Greetings I have just recently gotten into reskinning armor and weapons but when I drag the .png of the Leg, chest or glove piece I want to edit into photoshop, it says "index" rather than Layer 0, thus not letting me create a new layer and color it. Anyone know how to fix this?

i will look into that, but where do i download model edits to and can you get banned from them?

you download model edits into your World of warcraft data folder and name the edit patch-(3-9)/(a-z) and yeah you can get banned but its rare unless you tell everyone that you model edit

Image -> Mode -> RGB Color.
For Photoshop users.

Make sure to revert your image back to Index when you're done with editing;
Image -> Mode -> Index.
