[Question] small question; model changing

Right now I got the draenei male > troll male working with patch-7.mpq in my data folder.

If I want to change that same character, draenei male, it to something else would I have to delete the existing patch-7.mpq in my wow directory data folder before I can copy over another mpq? or just copy paste another one?

It would technically read in the higher number patch for the graphic used (I believe anyway)

So a patch-8.MPQ should overwrite it, although if the only thing in patch-7 is the model change, you might as well delete it.
