Its stupid to check that one. One may just start at the one nearby. They should just check for files, that normall don't exist.

why to use model edits for anything else than exploiting? if you use it for cheating, you at least receive something for taking the risk of ban (eg. baron mount).. but if you use model edits just because you're a green hero and wanna look "T8-like", it's pretty stupid and it absolutely doesn't worth it...

come on guys... risking ban for some stupid client-side editions? your gear still looks crappy to others, so why bother of changing it for yourself?

The only reason that Model editing is even a risk in the first place is because of people that have to use it as exploitation. There have been few to no report of bans of people getting banned because they changed there gear from X to X. All the reports i have ever seen have been linked to people doing dumb things with model edits.

To me you are only risking a ban if you are doing dumb things. And if you think that model editing is only Gear swapping and exploitation then you should look more into the subject.

Took me 345 runs to get the Barons mount. I did 320 on my own and 25 with the map edit. I'll admit that at that point I wouldn't have cared if I got banned. I was sooooooo sick of that place and the game at that point that it didn't matter.

I agree with everyone about model edits being used for good though, I just rerolled a horde druid and couldn't stand looking at the pingface cat while leveling, using the model edit on him now and loving it.

I don't use ME for exploiting, neither for making WoW more colorful (lol is it even possible?).. I just say, that client-side editions just "for efect" don't worth the risk of getting banned for editing Blizzard's software and breaking ToS (or what is the real name of that stupid textwalls)... Just my opinion...

Xel, i totall agree with u, use XYZ or something for mount runs or clear the instance so u can run throught it... or dont do it at all..

I still haven't figured out which hack got me the 3 day, maybe while responding to a dumb ticket about eggs the GMs looked at my Stratholme logs and all my wow crashes, etc. Dunno. I used the baron hack until Apr 22.

EDIT: And I have 4 years of complaints against me for swearing at people, got unlucky and cocky/stupid I guess. So grateful they didn't just set me up with the Big ByeBye...

When did they issue the ban? Just now? Because I used a strat model edit a few days before 3.1 and I am wondering if they are only just now looking into it... weird. :confused:
