Are you somehow joking ? Or just making a brilliant illustration of your lack of indepth reasoning about the great danger the fact that Blizzard's started monitoring gamefiles represents ?
By watching what they recently did to their other game products, we are only sure about one thing: Blizzard is capable of jumping from a 'couldn't care less' to a 'overall paranoid control' stance in a rush.
Taking Diablo II @ BNet as an example, they let us run the game with heavily modded clients (that among others, allowed some of the most extreme 'exploits') for about 7 years, then, almost without notice, decided to make even the slighest & harmless change to the game data a bannable offence, definitely closing the door of D2 editing on live realms, which is a great loss, for some a reason to quit.
Concerning WoW, they already applied several soft 'nerfs' that, eventhought it didn't 'kill' the ability of doing it, restricted our editing ranges and definitely buried some of the greatest possibilities (TaxiPaths is a good example)

The fact that CreatureModelData.dbc is being watched is a hard nerf, you can now say goodbye to fully working custom models among other great stuff.
As of today, we even have to run a haxored wow.exe to load our edits; which in terms of detectability, couldn't be worse.
I wouldn't be surprised if they rapidly add new modules to Warden@WoW / add more entries to this list, if not start monitoring the whole Data folder...

Forgot to say that i'm glad if people are getting banned for using model editing as a cheat tool.
If we definitely loose the ability to load edited gamefiles, we should know who to blame.
