[tip] Way to save time after c:/ format.

This is a little tip/guide for you mmowneders, how to save some time.

Instaling WoW + BC + downloading or/and installing patches + setting up addons - that all takes me about 3h. Thats so annoying, esspecialy just after you was formatting and instaling OS.

    So theres my tip:
-All you need is a partition that is never formatted (for me is a "download" partition)
-Now: if wow is already installed you can just copy+pastle it to that partition, and then do format; if not, just install it to that partition after format and installing OS.

Wow doesnt require any registry keys to run. Can be even lunched form LAN.

Since now, youll never again need to loose your time, and youll can just get fun of your fresh OS.

I hope it will help some of you guys.

[tip] Way to save time after c:/ format.

of course it does, but what hes referring to is that you can split your mounted harddrive into partitions allowing you to format one part of the disk while the other one stays "intact", that way you can install wow on a partition together with all your important files (pictures, music etc.) and then when you format your harddrive you can choose not to format that particular partition you have wow installed on and then when you get ure windows back up and running just run it from the partition or copy it back to the other one you just formated.

hope i didnt make it more complicated than it already was for u

Basically, move the WoW folder to another drive and it will still work wherever you copy/paste it to.

I don't have this problem as i just install all games to my 2nd drive. I once decided to do a fresh install just for that minty fresh feeling... my God, it takes bloody ages no matter what your computer specs are.
