Are you sure the rare mounts and stuff get tied to the license and they still carry over?
I was under the impression that after the change, mounts and pets got tied only to the bnet account as a whole and did not care about license transfer, just like char transfer between different bnet does.
When was the last time you did a transfer like this?
Mid October.
So I managed to create a clean account, transferred the characters I wanted and submitted a ticket to Bliz to separate the accounts. It's been 9 hours though and I haven't had any further feedback from them yet. Guess it's just a waiting game at this stage.

You could always try live chat.
Tried live chat eventually, apparently they don't separate accounts anymore. Will try to transfer again in 3 days.
Did however email privacy to remove personal details, no response yet.
Haven't picked up on any other activity from OO yet.

Wondering if this method, or perhaps another method would be best for my situation. I have my main WoW account with characters under my name, but a long time ago bought a second account and now the OO is trying to take the account back. I need to transfer the character from the bought account to the account with my name, however I tried in the past with no success, so I cannot do something that would cause them to check my history of trying to change the name.
So still busy trying to resolve this, got a bit complicated when OO submitted a retrieval request form. Think having changed the SQA before that made things a bit difficult for him.
I'm now trying to have the licences transferred to a new battle.net account again as well as changing name and SQA
Ok, so this is where I stand at the moment.
Characters have all been transferred to a new wow account.
Account has been verified and authenticator setup.
SQA has been changed twice.
Name of OO has been changed to second name per ID.
Letter will be sent to Blizzard to delete the original wow account.
Only issue now seems to be that the original Battle.Net account still exists.
Quote from Blizz (I think you're EU):
Ask for Battle.net account to be deleted at the same time.Greetings Balwer,
As Fiskerdin mentions, it’s not possible to give or otherwise trade away your WoW account, as both WoW and Battle.net accounts are non-transferrable and should only ever be accessed and played on by the person whose name is on the accounts themselves.
You can, however, request permanent deletion of a WoW (or Battle.net account) by sending a postal letter to our European Headquarters in France, providing the following information;
Your Battle.net account name
Your World of Warcraft account name
Full name registered on the account
Your full address including postal or zip code
Your Secret Question and Answer information
A legible scan or photo of a piece of government-issued photo identification, such as a passport or driving license matching the first and last name of the registered account owner
You’ll also need to include a signed letter confirming that you wish the deletion to take place, as the CD-Keys used on the account in question would be lost during the deletion process and this cannot be reversed at a later date.
If you’re interested in obtaining more information about permanent account deletion, or your alternative options if you’d simply like to take a break for a while, then you’re very welcome to get in touch with our Account and Payment team directly using the link provided above.
Best of luck.![]()
Another tip: I don't know how mail works there (still assuming you're EU), but get a form of registered post that requires signature on delivery, or at least a tracking number that shows delivery was made. You can bring this up with Blizz in the future if ever needed for some obscure reason.

I didn't want to push too much, but it can be done. GM's are reluctant to transfer 1 license at a time though so you end up with all the licences on the account being transferred at the same time.
In my case there were already 3 licences so the GM transferred the new license I had on a new battle.net account to the old battle.net account and then changed the email, owners name and SQA.
'll now try to delete all the spare licences on the account and then move the last license to a complete new battle.net again in a couple of months.
I have all the details required to delete the accounts in question. Will be sending the letter tomorrow more than likely. If the deletion then goes through then I hope to transfer the wow license to another battle.net and delete the original battle.net.
Can't think of anything more to do beyond that.
