How are the monks in patch 5.1?

In PvP they're better, or HonorBuddy is alot better. One of the two.

am top 99% of the time as a monk healer, but idk bout ww. ive seen a few do some crazy dmg, but they are really rare.

monks are great actually. if you know your priority moves. its not a general rotation like most other classes because we do not have finishers like most dps classes...
if you know what to do based on the situation then you will be fine. however most people just try to faceroll as a monk and this makes a huge difference.
