Getting gold in game

Not sure if this was posted before. It probably has, but here you go.

You're basically faking being hacked in the game to get free gold back. I don't know if this would work, I would like information to see if it is possible to pull this off without any problem.

So with your account, you gather up gold from everyone you know, just borrow it, you will pay them back, don't have to tell what you're doing with it. Then have a friend, who does know what you're doing, put something on auction for the amount of money you have available to spend. Buy whatever it is on the auction house, basically giving all your gold to your friend.

Then report later on that you were hacked and you're missing all your gold. Eventually you should get a specialist that will restore your gold, and your friend would still have your gold because he was supposedly innocent. If you don't get your gold back somehow, your friend still has the gold, so it is safe.

I really just want to know if this would work. If not, why? What risks are involved? Thanks in advance.

Hmm It abit like the GM "Scam" where you make a lvl 10+ with a crazy name there isn't allowed..
Have your friend to report your name. then go out with your lvl 10 and kill some mobs close to a big city where your friend is, and wait till a GM begins to takl with you.
The GM tells you to relog so you can change your name. Then the "tricky" comes you ask him "if it okay you go to a safe place to log out" then go into the city where your friend is and give him all your money!
and then logoff and change your name and wolla you got the same money as your got when he spokd with the GM - and your friend also got the gold
- But I dont know if it still works


But about your "scam", I think Blizzard 1st of all will check the TradeLogs and see who there "took" your gold and then ban him..
So it NOT safe for your friend.. and the money you gave to your friend will just got deleted (or whatever) and then they will give them back to you

I am pretty sure that this woulnd't work. Or if it worked, then You would definately have some problems.
Ah, and yes, GM's have logs of actions.

Aight, but I still don't look to positive to it, because they have logs. Anyways, don't bother to try this out - I really would like to know what is the result.
