Guild leveling exploits took them 1-4 days to fix, so I wouldn't expect this to be fixed 2 hours after this thread was created. Comments on Wowhead indicate that people were getting this book since the patch, so I don't think that Blizzard cares/is aware of this yet.

I think blizz check ownedcore more frequently than comments posted on random articles on wowhead. But thats just my thoughts.

I think this book is just a placeholder (like written on wowhead). Maybe it will be converted to something useful after MoP gets released. Like a portal to the new city of MoP. Maybe this portal cannot be learned at the "normal" portal NPC. So this could be useful after some time. Just be sure you wrap a gift paper around it to reduce a chance of a deletion.
