I have done the encounter 9 times with my warrior, and as far as i can remember i have pulled him with heroic throw most of the times. Never one shotted him. I have allso tried to pull him like you deskribe. My guess is that it was a "once in a lifetime" bug.
However, sad it isent reality every time=(

Your tank had Essence of Gossammer. You can achieve +5000% damage modifiers with this trinket. I'm not going to divulge how because blizzard are bashing their heads trying to hotfix it at the moment. But i'd bet anything that your tank was using it. It has nothing to do with Hadronox specifically. You'll also notice that the only person that did insane damage was your tank for 10 seconds.

I'd think that this is a < 1% chance to happend, since i've never heard of it and i've helped alot of people with the Glory of the Hero achievements on him, its not usual.

i've actually had an incident where the boss died even before we got to hit him.... we couldnt even loot his corpse cuz none of us hit him before he died to the spiders...

Well it is a scripted event. When spiders come out and fight the boss , they all have normal mob attacks , and while fighting him , maybe all of those little spiders critted or something , got him really low , bang , your 1 out of 10000000 event. Since mobs do have a crit chance , but its a bit of a long shot that they all crit several times in a row to actually make it happen, only thing i can think of. If not that warrior is really good at throwing things , must be in the olimpics...

Okay, this is why it happened, I'm guessing. There is an occasional bug where Hadronox or however you spell his name gets owned by the spiders. You hit him so you started the encounter with your group, so as soon as you hit him, the spiders likely finished him off. This happened to me and a few others on MMOwned and we didn't hit the boss so he died :yuck: was hilarious.

I once killed Malygos with my Ghoul. Also have 2 manned Kel'thuzad with my friend, on lvl 1 alt's.

I've also used Heroic Throw to pull him early every time, without such a bug occurring.
I won't deny that this is possible, because of the fluctuation of Hadronox's health, but I'm sure something else has to happen besides pulling him.

Like some of you were saying, it was probably when hardonox was just low on health. He wasnt even looking when he did it. I wouldnt go out of my way to write this if it was a fluke. But it did happen for us, and I guess that really rare chance happened for us, I'm sorry for those of you that it didn't work for, but I just thought i'd post what I had found out about it. I will try and run it again for a screenshot, fraps, and see if it works that time.
