[EPIC] 1 Shot Hardonox

I know this is my first post and all, but i can confirm this sorta.

We were doing heroic AN. We had a pretty pimp group we usually run the place in 12 minutes anyway, one of the DKs didnt feel liek waiting for him to kill the adds so he just went after the boss before he made his way up from killing the adds. So anyway way we're all fighting the boss and the little adds that hes supposed to kill keep spawning and spawning lol well little did we know those little adds actually healed him. We ended up wiping becuase the healer went oom after like 9 minutes of him getting healed from 95% to 100%. On our way back and ready for round 2 after we learned our lesson we lkilled the 3 elite dudes to trigger the boss. When he came up the tank pulled him with his gun and the boss just died in 1-hit.

I'm hoping this will help you guys narrow it down a little to exactly what causes it. I personally think it has something to do with the little adds.

Your tank had Essence of Gossammer. You can achieve +5000% damage modifiers with this trinket. I'm not going to divulge how because blizzard are bashing their heads trying to hotfix it at the moment. But i'd bet anything that your tank was using it. It has nothing to do with Hadronox specifically. You'll also notice that the only person that did insane damage was your tank for 10 seconds.

Are you serious? Lol. All anyone has to do is look up this item on Wowhead to see this super secret bug you are so averse to divulging. Here's a quote directly from the comments:

If a prot tank has specced Armored to the Teeth (as any decent tank would do) it gives a dramatic DPS increase. People have reported doing 100.000 shield slams, 40.000 revenge hits right after this trinket procs."

Only.... it works for druids, and paladins and has nothing to do with armor values or that talent. It was a nice try though, and yes this is what one shotted hadronox, you can double check if you want Alucard but you'll find your tank was wearing it.

I wouldn't believe anything this guy says, I'm sure he thinks he's "throwing blizzard off the trail" or something. Waiting for confirmation from someone that can actually be trusted.

You'll notice some random 160k shield slams from the tank on 4HM, i'm not going to go digging for the Druid/Paladin screenshots + parses, but you really have no idea what you're talking about.

This isn't a fake, but it's not really an exploit either.

The little spiders that attack the boss can get him to 1 HP, but not kill him, so sometimes you can run up and hit him before he kills a little spider and regains his health.

I lol'd when this happened to our group.

he speaks the truth. Your tank was spec'd for Armored to the Teeth and had the rare proc on this proc, then heroic throw'd the boss for more than his hp.

yeah, it was, he does have gossamer. So technically this is an exploit right? if u hit hardonox at the right moment? and if there is a good chance that procs? no fluke!
