Please help...My first time using MaNGOS or Trinity for that matter....and I used this repack...and I am able to get into the game...but there r no items (gameobjects) tele's, npc's, or anything! I got in game naked....and its pissing me off I checked my db...(using anvicat) checked gameobjects: nothing. wuld really like some help :/ thought all the npc's teles and items were included? plz help..

It appears you might've done a step wrong, I did the same earlier, When I first started using the repack I messed up with the Vmaps and when I logged in the db apparently "locked" down and didn't make any game items (a.k.a. Objects, npc's, and spell effects) visible.
I think you might need to re-create the repack and go over your steps so that this doesn't happen again.

Well what can I say? First of all, you're doing a great job, don't let anyone telling you otherwise. But you should also be prepared for the sarcasm etc etc ppl throw at you. Cuz there will always be ppl that will never be happy unless your repack is perfectly the same as Official. They don't realise Blizz has a whole team of programmers and designers to get it done and you're pretty much most of the time on your own. Not to mention that you're trying to reverse engineer one of the worlds most popular games. You've chosen to do something for the community and I'm pretty much sure you already know that it means there will be positive and negative reactions. It's not a perfect world. Ppl are harsh and mean. I understand such idiots drive you mad sometimes, but if you decide to quit cuz of it, all your hard work would be for nothing and those that rely on you would "suffer" pretty much the same.

That being said, these are the bugs I've found in your latest build (this would be build 11 / testing x64)

Enchanting: All enchants are suddenly in one big group. You can't select enchanting for bracers, gloves, chest etc etc alone.
ICC: Your previous scripts are no longer loading. Although this is a work in progress, I know, it was kinda fun to play with it

On positive note: I've seen you added all the latest gear items. This is rly cool. Can finally test my uber builds xD

Hey guys, i love the repacks but have been away for quite some time. wanted to give the new one a try and did everything as instructed but when i try to launch the World part of the server it crashes instantly and the db error log is stating:

" 2010-08-21 22:16:51 >> Loaded 0 trinity strings. DB table `trinity_string` is empty. Cannot continue."

I checked the specified trinity_string and see that it isnt empty.

Anyone able to help?


Disregard this. I feel like an idiot. when making the DB in mysql i spelled world , "wrold" so it wasnt connecting right when i put world in the config files.

Hi.
I downloaded the v 9.5 server a couple hours ago and i cannot get worldserver to launch without instantly crashing. Everything else launches fine. i have no clue as to what the problem is. i installed and followed the guide accordingly. I want to use it to self test on my Laptop.

i managed to see a "little bit" of a red text message saying 000.vmtree is missing or pointing to wrong version of vmap file. redo vmaps with latest version or somthing. can't make out much more as it closes too fast. I thought i had the latest vmaps or mabey i did something wrong i downloaded both the files it said and i instaled in the right order. I looked around and found the vmapextractor on sourceforge buut there wasn't a readme...im used to arcmu but they have too many problems and as much rep as this server has id like to use it.

..is it just me or does tirion not go as his script intended him to? i keep right-clicking tirion then clicking the first bubble for him to start the fight but he wont attack the lich king, this happens after they do all the talking and tirion is like "CHAMPIONS, ATTACK!" but he doesnt move >.<

Yeah, you need to follow query errors to fix them. Be careful because after a fix is added something wrong always pops up.

Hello all... I have been playing around with WOW private servers for a while now. I am comfortable messing around with navicat to change certain things in my server but I am having difficulty updating the Prydev cores with the updates with SqlYog.. I have V11 and trying to update with UCDB_335_9436. is there or does anyone no of a tutorial to do so. Step by Step
I followed the directions in the read me file but I can not get it to work.... Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction...

any idea on how to make it work with hamachi? i changed both bindIp's in the configs and the IP in the realmdlist in the database and my friends can connect to the realmlist but it says the server is offline and to me it isnt, whats up with that?

Tzeentch666, it will never work with hamachi, it doesn't support it.

No, you're wrong, it IS possible to work with hamachi, it's just the results are horrible and it pretty much makes all the bad effects of the core take power 3x as hard.
