Does anybody have an tutorial about the bots?
Does anybody have an tutorial about the bots?
yeah
ok to add a player bot to your party first create another character under the same account your going to spawn the player bots by default you can have up to 9
then enter the realm with the char you want to use
for example then type .bot add botone
this will spawn a player bot that is named botone if you have a char in your account named that
just replace botone with the name of the char you created under your account other than the one you are going to use
i"m using the latest core 9008 download from their sourceforge page the file is named UCDB_335_All_Bots.rar
should work like a charm after that the all in one core has bots disabled
you'll get some errors from the core complaining about stuff when bots are in your group but it doesn't hinder the server so ignore them

Yeah .im stuck on the bots, i imported the new sql into a new database called world.. imported all the bot_core_updates sql..
well all i did was import one of the db's that came with 9008 core.
then imported the sqls inside sqls\extra\bots
make sure you put world in your world dir and character into your character dir.
then i started the bot core version of the server
typed .bot add botone "replace botone with the char you want on the same account"
and bot's are alive and well on my server. there's not really any secret to it. the only reason your getting no command found is cause you either typed the command wrong or your using the wrong core.
in the rar that has the bots there are 2 sets of cores one set with x32 and x64 bins that has bot enabled and the other with x32 and x64 cores without bots.
all other 3.3.5a cores do not have bot enabled so you have to use 9008 or it won't work.
I just started installing the new 9008 core server when i noticed there is a 4th world db called Pure and its a few MB larger then the other 3...what are the differences?
@Wisher their pure database runs using different DB strings, it might have several fixes, it might have bugs too, its made because Pryd began to work on a pure DB to avoid to many bugs and errors
Hehe, well ive been busy with some other things but i was checking back regularly for updates... How are you handling all these...khm,"friendly" guys?Anw,thanks for the answer...ive spent over 3 hours waiting for Pure to finish but it barely went over half so im gonna try it out some other time...
Cheers!
