OK...so thanks to you wisher, i have MySql installed. I have setup the username and password then connected to it with Navicat successfully. Now im watching his original video of how to set it up and im assuming that this video is way out of date. I have ultracore v10 and the Vmapsupport. They are both installed. If i follow the video, he says to make the three databases names realmdtest, charactertest, worldtest. That was completed successfully too. The problem is when i go to execute.....i cant find characters.sql or ANY sql for that matter, in the ultracore file. Apparently something has changed. Could you be so nice as to tell me what that is?? Maybe i just have to click one buttin and nothing else now??? Maybe its that easy and i just dont know?? Thanks again!!

In the repacks, there is no .sql file for the individual database. They've already been imported into the mysql that comes with the repack. You would have to launch the included mysql server, and then dump the databases to file in order to get the database tables. The .sql files are given for the db/core releases.

Unless I'm wrong, and tend to be often (or so I'm told), the repacks are designed to be basically install and run with little to no user intervention needed in order to get playing, with maybe the exception of modifying the .conf files for public use/tighter or freer rules.

your problem depends on if you have downloaded manual install or AIO install, the AIO install already have a MySQL.exe program in it and you wont need to install anything, it has got a preconfigured password that you need to use with your config files and your navicat. If you have downloaded a manual install you need to get 9008 and install everything, then you can get the world from 9008+, and i dno if they've made the char and realm sql's yet. if you try to mix the install steps from AIO and manual, it will all screw up.

Yes,actually,you dont even need MySQL installed,its all included in the package for easy setup...all you have to do when you install it (beside starting it up) is setting up the .conf files,like homiebrah said...but, since you made the databases and went that way, i would recommend downloading the manual install files and then just continue from where you stopped,following the guide...one difference to note: realmd.sql and database are now called auth, but you can still use realmd database,it wont cause any problems...

Which is much more stable than last release

Until I one have a change of heart
or 2 someone else takes up the (AIO) Part of project
I have enough going on to make core function correctly

For the first 12 hours after release the status will show how long it has been released for

I have executed v10.exe, and then VmapSupport_3.3.5a.exe from my C: dir.

To start the server, I go into the c:\Ultracore\server dir an execute Apache.bat, then MySQL.bat. Then I go into c:\Ultracore\32 bit\Blizz and try and execute Trinitycore.exe and get the above error.

I have made a vmaps dir under c:\Ultracore\Data and copied all my *.vmtree files into the vmaps dir.

Here is what I assume is the relevant data from worldserver.conf from the Blizz dir that I am trying to run Trinitycore.exe from

Please help...My first time using MaNGOS or Trinity for that matter....and I used this repack...and I am able to get into the game...but there r no items (gameobjects) tele's, npc's, or anything! I got in game naked....and its pissing me off I checked my db...(using anvicat) checked gameobjects: nothing. wuld really like some help :/ thought all the npc's teles and items were included? plz help..

Thanks for your very nice repacks!But i have some problems with your newest repack(3.3.5),i can't enter Ruby Sanctum(3.3.5 instance),Wintergrasp is not working,i can't destroy anything with vehicules,and if i enter an area where it should dismount me(dalaran!),it just doesn't...some bosses doesn't work(algalon) and some have very low hp(lich king).Could anyone help me please?

Edit:server has all 3.3.5 items,but it crashes when i spawn Halion:S
