I tried to play WoW as a single player with bots more than a year ago, with that WoW SPP repack (or whatever its called) where you could choose what WoW to play (vanilla, TBC or WOTLK) and while at start i had fun in it, i noticed that bots weren't "that good" for doing dungeons or raids (or maybe i didn't know how to config them properly), and then after a short time i quit it.
In present i have a great mood for playing WoW again (WOTLK especially) but i lack the time for grinding the game and beign dependent of other players for raids etc. etc.
So long story short, i have a BIG question about this repack: Are the bots good enough to do dungeons and raids? Can i play as if i play on a normal server and "complete" the game with my character? (e.g. in the final will i be able to raid ICC 10/25 normal or heroic?) Do i need to tweak settings or something in order to make the bots or whatever, to work as close as a human would behave in game?
Thanks in advance, any help is deeply appreciate!
Hi. There has been a lot of progress in the bot's AI regarding dungeons and raids compared to a year ago. Most of the vanilla dungeons work, but there's some expansion dungeons like ICC that are being worked on. You can always use the autobalance module configuration to tweak the dungeon difficulty if bots aren't good enough for a particular dungeon.

Thats just it, i dont know exactly where or how to tweak some things to be able to progress through certain dungeons and/or raids (e.g. idk how to use autobalance module or any module tbh)
It wouldnt bother me if i could do, lets say ICC (10 or 25) with 9 or 24 bots + me, bots beign poor geared or whatever... i just care that i can find a way to experience the story more, so to speak, then the challanges of mechanics through out a raid or dungeon. Could you help me with this? Or at least point out some tutorials or some stuff that could help me?

The file you need to edit is inside config/modules, autobalance.conf. You can edit it with text editor. It's simple and every option has comments on what they do.

Just picked this up the other day after playing SPP Classics for awhile. This Repack Kicks ass, way more stable then SPP Classics and less bugs encountered in game because Azerothcore>CMangos (at least I think that's what SPP Classics uses). Saw there was an update yesterday is updating as simple as dragging and dropping the 11/02/2025 files into the old folder?
Thanks!

Nope. If you do that you will lose your character data because the database will get overwritten. You need to transfer your characters first to the new repack either using the .pdump command or my powershell scripts. You also need to cut/copy your data folder into the new repack's root folder, because i'm not including it anymore with the download.

Here are video about raids with playerbots
kadeshar - YouTube
Here is playerbot's wiki
Home . liyunfan1223/mod-playerbots Wiki . GitHub
There are two addons -- Unbot and Multiybot (Playerbot Add‐ons . liyunfan1223/mod-playerbots Wiki . GitHub)
The first one is much simplier, but now archved, and development goes in more complex MultiBot
Here is bot controlling tutorial with Unbot addon, but it is easy to adopt MultyBot after you catched the idea

So far the only dungeon I've had issues with is halls of remembrance, 3rd in the series, 1st boss the priest doesn't know to cleanse the rebuff and you emd up taking 75% dmg and -75% healing, 3rd boss, escape from TLK they always want to atk him instead of fleeing and get one shot 🤣
Also I think it was called the oricule couldn't be finished as you have to ride dragons to kill the last boss and another one where you have to ride horse with a lance,
Other than that they have gotten me through heroic modes no issues.

Can you add NPC bots to this repack as well?

I found a bug, when you play hunter or warlock, when they level up the fps drops, when you are on mount and attack someone and the pet appears the fps also drops.

Pointless because playerbots do the same things but are better.

FPS is a client thing, not server related. What is your computer specs?

Can you tell me how to set the time of the server so that it coincides with the time of the computer on which it is running? 646.png

Edit: i couldn't find a setting for that so it's better to ask in the azerothcore discord. Btw the module time is time affects the rate which time passes, so you might want to edit that config as well.
