This GM Hack could be real. (from a D*soft VIP)

Addon hack? Give me a break! If GM hack existed it wouldn't be an addon but normal desktop application. You can't change outgoing packet's info with addon. And for GM hack it will need a lot of packet changing and knowing the emulator's flaws in source code. From what i've saw in the screenshots in his site he only shows his skills in addon making with "Project: WoW Ilioner". He basicly re-wrote some of the functions which you can reach by going to interface options while ingame. Oh look when you click here you get your video settings to lowest possible /facepalm. He is showing in the screenshots only things that can be done with the addon, nothing else. One thing that made my day was "-execute lua code on targets client" (this is about the same project which can be run on retail). Yeah he is pure genius! He couldn't learn basic English but he managed to somehow edit target's client source, so it can accept his lua code/files. This is serious guys!!! After he release his projects Blizzard probably will shut down their servers until they manage to fix all the security holes that dude found in their game. Oh the sarcasm...

1. A lot of the good coders don't speak English well.
2. He isn't the one who posted about it here, thus, no ban. It was posted on another forum, which the OP of this thread leeched.

Go spend five minutes on Deathsoft and then at least give him a chance. Hellfire has released stuff before, coupled with the reason that like 7 people on Deathsoft confirmed it is why i'm not throwing it outside the realm of possibility.

why does everyone just automatically think that it hacks into the database... it's got nothing to do with the database of the server, it will work on any emu (except retail of course), and that doesnt mean it's hacking into the database. That detective link was funny i admit. I checked his release on similar addon which have nothing to do with hacking. He just packed few exploits found by other people in his punistool addon. As i though the changing name function is only client side. And i don't throw his outside the realm of possibilities but if there was a real GM hack it couldn't support all emulators at once. It's not something like WEH which edits client variables but it have to interact with the server to get GM rights. And in every emulator it's done differently. I don't wanna be a dick by beaking your hopes of working GM hack but i hardly doubt that this will be the man who will create it.

Right... And how will you authorize that you are a GM? You want to tell me that the server will ignore the database check for account rights if you are using that addon? And if it's working on any emu why it won't work on retail?

@Cypher: you mixed up my pm which is about the illioner thing and the thing they talk about in this topic. the thing on the screen is about some kind of ingame botnet :wave: (whicht is actually already working). you can use it to transmit any data from one to an other realm via the bgs (as long as the realms are in the same realmpool). also imagine 1k(or even only 100) ppl whispering you seems to be funny
