I Myself help anyone who I can help if I have the time and patience, and 99% of my msn contacts are people who wanted help. I don't pretend I am pro, if I don't know an answer I tell them I do not know. Also I only know the basics of core editing and can only write simple C++ scripts, and I don't want to take it a step further. I am quite content with the work I am able to produce and would like to make use of the various aspects that are given to us by the people who do the core work to make great servers. What I'm getting to is myself (everyone is different - this is my justification) took WoW as a hobbie, and not something serious. I would not like to go into core work and spend hours fixing bugs etc, because this would be extreamly boring, and who does a hobbie that is fun? I prefere to be able to make in game content, and absulootly love doing it with other people / watching people do it since I get a 'kick' from it.

Also going onto the part where you say people say Trinity is best because it's cool, there are two sides to this. One is a thing which I can't remember the name off, is if somebody walks into a elevater and everyone is facing one way, that person is most likely to face the way the other people are facing instead of turning around. Apply the logic here, people see a lot of other people saying trinity is best - they say it is as well. The 2nd reason which applys to me, is that people honestly just believe Trinity is the best for blizzlike. Thats just what I honestly do believe the emulater is good for, running blizzlike. If I wanted to go custom, I would go ArcEmu / Aspire because it is much easier in my opinion and for a lot of other people (I won't go into the reasons for why we think this about the emulaters because A: you already know probably and B: it will start up a flame war).

Anyway, are we going off topic? Keeping this as up to date as I can.

    Good post is good.

I prefer Mangos, and always have.

I've just always gotten better support from their community, in comparison to Ascent/ArcEmu/Trinity.

They also had some pre-coded functions that the other Emulators lacked, which have saved us time with customizing the core.
