Are you stipulating that the laws are just there for no reason? That they don't even matter? That they serve no function whatsoever? I hope your not right, or the entire justice system is destroyed.

Not to step into the discussion you 2 are having but you cannot be saying you believe ALL laws are just surely. Whether they be copyright laws or common laws or federal laws or state laws or country laws or religious laws. And sorry to say but law != justice most of the time either.
They are there for reasons sure but i would have to argue that most of the laws are there to protect not the individual but the ones making the money and the ones in control.
Which in this case would be Bl!zzard on both counts but they are trying to protect a valuable investment and money maker not steal from the poor as some would have others think. That 'others' is not directed to anyone in particular just some that think Bl!zzard should leave emus/bots alone because. And that is all the argument some have...Because. The 'Justice system' is already broke or did you sleep through the whole OJ thing? And more recently the sub-prime mortgage thing


Edit: On a side note i really think topic name needs to be changed as it is more of an opinion that a statement of fact...as the last 5 pages can prove there are many of them. Since this has never been tried in a court, AFAIK, so no solid precedence to go upon.

Doesn't matter if I believe all the laws are just (I don't), just what the laws are now. It's the judicial branches job to interpret the laws, not create new ones or modify current ones.

Downloading copyrighted stuff from torrents is illegal.
Now, is it hard to find torrent files which you can use to download illegal stuff? no, you can use google, and they are very visible.

No-one ever said that there wouldnt be any private servers, even if it would be illegal to run one, since in the end theres so many of them that no-one can take them down, new ones pop up after old ones die, and they are good marketizing for blizzard, a free trial with bugs, one gets bored of the bugs but likes the game so he goes to buy a legit wow + acc.
