[Request] NCDB help

Can someone tell me how to make a server with NCDB.. I don't understand how it works.. Somone please make a tutorial on how to make a server the not noob way.. AKA with NCDB.. I'll +2 rep you every day for a friggin week if someone tells me how to get this thing to work.. Thanks

ok ncdb makes a world database if you dont know...
- Create one databases: called world
-Make a random folder and extract the ncdb things into the folder
- Now it's time for the world database. There will be a batch file called Tool.
- Right click the file and select Edit.
- There will be two things that you must change: username, passwd.
- Change username to root.
- Change passwd to whatever you made it in the MySQL setup.
- Save the file and run it.
- It will ask for a letter to do an option, type w to import the database.
- After it is done, close the program.

Ok now that I have all that, When ever I log in and make a character it isnt on the character select screen.
I downloaded "CharDB 2.3.3 enGB" from the site you gave me made a new DB named "character" and executed the sql made my account and changed all the configs.. its all right just the characters don't show up on the character select screen.. someone help please

I would suggest using the new database. 3xi-3xiDb

Same prob with that, no characters.

update your playercreateinfo via ncdb, if that fails its either a corrupt core or your conf's are edited wrong
