Chazwazza's Model Edit Fix - Live + PTR

has ANYONE got Modeledit Fix to work on Vista? Would really appriciate if someone tought me to get it work on vista.

My ME worked on Vista in 2.3, and using this ME fix I was able to do the tauren to NE fix with 2.4, but not the boot, hair or size fix that worked in 2.3.

Didn't do anything other than follow the directions in the thread, still trying to figure out the 3 that simply don't work now.

It's used to load our "home made" mpq's into wow... without it wow will just crash or just not load them...

Btw, can anyone just give us a step-by-step guide here...? Looks like many ppl's are confused here...:wave: I cant do it myself, cuz I I'm confused to.... Everything worked PERFECT for me untill 2.4.0 came..lolz

Like always there is usually a tutorial on the first page not to be rude D: all I did was put it in my wow folder and hit the "launch" button when it came up. Downside is seems like only some of my patches are working some of them don't seem to be working even with this.
*Edit~ woops! ok lol got all of them working now ^^ I'm sure someone may have said this in here before but you must make sure of these things
*Wrong "Patch-Z.mpq"
*Correct "patch-z.MPQ"
patch and the z part must all be lower case! (z on this can be something else but the same rule will apply) But! MPQ must all be in capitals. You can do this yourself by right clicking and selecting rename and altering it yourself it shouldn't affect the mpq at all (except for the "it's not working" part :P)

BAH nvm in everything. I just noticed that I had to rename stuff...
there was some files that wasn't DBC files and the one that was DBC file that did the error message. now it's working like a charm

I had the DBC files hidden by the other with a .MPQ instead of .mpq
and the normal edits in .mpq instead of .MPQ

ok.. i dont get the patch thing?? i have the .mpq i want its a re model of dawf to a BE...

so i run MEF and it atuo patches.. and boots wow.. i login .. nothing??

i didnt change any "patch" stuff... the instrutions dont explain "patch" stuff... please help a kid out.
