It is not working for me and I have no idea why.. I downloaded it, put it in my WoW directory (The same directory as my wow executable), ran it, and when I click Launch or Patch it says "WoW version mismatch, please download an updated model edit fix", any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been trying sooo long to get model edits working, but have had 0 success! (I also didn't have .net framework so it wasn't running for me at the beginning of that's important to know) . Thanks!

Too the people having troubles with getting the fix to work, try putting the .mpq extension of the file in capital letters

    "Patch-E.MPQ" per example.

    the name must be:

    patch-X.MPQ

With MPQ in capital letters. That should do the trick.

i somehow can't get this to work, i've tried almost everything

    i got: gnomeftoworgen.MPQ

and i have the following files:
    - ModelEditFix
    - WoWME
    - wowme.cfg
    - WoWMe.dll

and when i type in *gnomeftoworgen.MPQ* inside *wowme.cfg* i can't even start the program, what am i doing wrong?

and everything ModelEditFix says is *mismatch, please download an updated version of Model Edit Fix* something,
what should i do to make this work?
    please help me!

    WoW version 2.4.2 Live

Hi, I'm wondering when Chazwazza will have an update for MEF for the new client, version 2.4.2 (827?

I love this mod and hope it remains around for a very long time since Draenei should have been High Elves!

(I'm also very grateful that MEF works with Vista )

i uninstalled all my MPQ's before downloading the new patch, and yet im having the same problem has before and can't log into wow. I know how to fix it but it takes about 3 hours and i don't want to have to do it every time there is a new patch to download.

I removed all model related files from my WoW folder before the patch and everything went fine.

If you've forgotten the .mpq's that are supposed to be in the folder, they're "expansion", "common", "patch", and "patch-2". Take the other ones out before or after you update and start WoW either with the old Model Edit Fix (as it still stands) or normally, and it should work fine.

Unfortunately, the gear that you've been wearing that you've had edited into a skirt ensemble will look like crap, though =(

I had probs with the new patch and what i ended up doing is removing all MPQs excluding expansion and common than try to repair it will say wow has been critically damaged and youll DL all the patches over again and it should work. alot better than waiting to reinstall the game
