Don't post does not mean that we do not have to say something from time to time. I try to post only If I really have something to say. This is the difference between you and me.

The POINT is... faith should be reestablished and I think the best way is to fix the issue and then allow a 3rd party with adequate knowledge to examine the source.

This will never happen. The bot is not open source.
In the end its something like this. Use it or don't use it, its up to you.
If you fear loosing your account for no reason (except you are a cracker^^) simply use another bot.
BTW. did you hear about the big ban wave started today in the US. A lot of bots are hitted there pvptool not ^^
So I stay with pvptool which worked for me in the past and it will work in the future. I don't see any point why pirox should harm his customers but I see a lot fo panic making and rumours.

No bots that I'm aware of. Just tools that open restricted LUA function.
Even so... wowrobot, gpbot and their ilk, I'd expect to see hit here and there on the way up.
pvptool and honorbuddy should not be feeling it as often as they are charging premium rates and should be a bit more polished. honorbuddy caught it once when it used a similar memory call as a previous LUA unlocking tool.

The ban hammer is a threat to all bots and tools. pvptool is no different and advertising such is shameless and gratuitous.

I appreciate the reply which is what I thought I'd see. That is the logical response of someone wishing to protect their creation. This bit of indescretion with personal data changes all that, however.

Use it in faith or do not use it is a poor response to proven reason for a lack thereof.

I am forced to assume you speak on behalf of pirox as you seem to operate under the auspice and in that respect my money must go elsewhere.

Thats interesting, what were you planning on doing with the account info? changing passwords? deleting gear? in mass?

Was using your stuff on live since your fishbot was first released. Moved onto memory reading bots.

If you want something to get rid of people using your tool without spending some jewgold imo; hit up a few detected memorys. Even so a prevention method like this looks like lawsuit maximum potential to me, blizzard would actually have loads of ground to stand on if you were getting rid of people on your own opinion.

Yeah. sorry to name drop cypher. It was really a generalization as a name we all know to be an adept with good sense and a strong bias. Yes, I am aware of the luaninja scenario which is not a fault as it was well advertised that it'd be a huge risk. Rather, the existence of such an ap and its IMMEDIATE adjustment to patches shows the type of knowledge and concern I imply should be present in the trusted 3rd party.

Even if it were to be entrusted to someone to verify, (which I never expected to happen) who in god's name would WANT to without being paid? It's really less of a matter of, "my code is too good to let out" and more, "who in the world worth their salt would actually bother with this tripe pro bono?". People with skills want money for using them. I would.

Really, for future business intake, saying, "deal with it, homie" is suicidal for the bottom line but you have to give people the rope first. You gotta' give 'em a chance. whether or not they hang themselves from there or create a hammock is the real test of character.

It's the most essential deciding factor on how to deal with them in the future.

Ultimately, these are not pirox's words directly so it's not fair to judge him for them.
The fact that the only real sense of injustice realized was via the public as it's source leaves me with doubts as to whether the statement will be different when they are official.

This is not a flame and I cannot say I speak for a community with such strict concerns. That is for them to voice. I simply am a consumer and an owner of a customer base driven storefront business. I'd want feedback from my demographic audience in such a detrimental topic regarding the expectations of my product.

Wow at all the people putting so much time into this. It's an autoit script that can be cracked by anybody with 15minutes and google. Check some of the sites...it's open knowledge. Just because they discontinued myExe2Aut for the newer versions doesnt mean it's rocket science.

Even if he stole your wow accounts; big deal, it's a game. I use his bot because I can't be bothered to write one that works so well myself. It makes me about $300/month passively by goldselling, if he stole my account/information I'd say big deal and petition for it back. If you want a bot that saves you time, use this...if not, make your own or go elsewhere. You're spending too much time on....a bot....for a game....called wow...It's just a game.
