A lot of people just had their accounts suspended for gold stealing activity. I too had mine suspended. It IS pvptool. Either pirox is selling his customers out or someone found a backdoor way into the program.

By 'a lot' of people you mean 3, all from the us, all suspended for gold selling/real world trading.

none for farming, none for third party software.

There are a few other threads in the forum with the same thing (about nine of us or so), but yeah it just seems like a bored GM decided to ban a few accounts at the same time.

To clarify it seems as if 10 or more of pirox users have been suspended for 72 hours on the accusation that we allegedly: sold/bought gold, had a third party access to it (friends, family, powerleveler) or exchanged anything for "real world" currency.

i have already appealed directly to blizzard by filling out the form as well as directly emailing their support staff.

I am planning to call to see if i can further progress this issue.

Use Honorbuddy. I think it's easier to use anyhow and does a better job imho.

Pirox, as an idea for copy protection, make most of bot server sided. im not exactly sure how your bot works being that ive never used it, however if it is any type of packet bot most of it can be moved to your server and if somebody wants to actually take the time to log packets and decrypt it and reverse engineer it...well then they are wasting time if they have that knowledge of programming they might as well make their own... if its a scripted bot, merely put in a autoupdate feature forcibly updating users and breaking older versions either way as flo said, if someone is truly dedicated in cracking your bot they will. the most you can do is try preemptive coding, and update frequently getting rid of known bugs, also set some members in your forum or something set to a special user group for specifically finding the cracked versions so that you can look into them and make it easier to fix.

edit: also if you in any way add any type of account stealing code you will be alienating your more intelligent users relatively fast and as such losing revenue.
