I just got off the phone with Lance (MDY's attorney) and he had some interesting stuff to share. He spoke with the clerk of the court and she said that it's likely the whole stay will be decided very soon, so there is not going to be a "mini stay while we decide the stay". It's on or it's off. Specifically, here's what I think is going to happen next.

1) Tomorrow (Tuesday), Blizzard will file their response to our big motion for stay.

2) Wednesday (yes, this fast), we will file our reply to their response.

3) Thursday (yes, seriously), the court will get the case and kick it around.

4) Friday or Monday (no way!), the court will rule.

That last one is, as you guys should know, always subject to question. They can take awhile to hammer things out, but this one is emergency status and the clerk seemed to believe that Friday or Monday was very likely. But don't hold it against me if they wait until November to rule. Although we'll be dead and gone by then.

This ruling should cover the stay through the entire appeal, so this is really the last and best shot. If they give us a bounce, we're good until the appeal is done. If they don't, we are done, pretty much forever, since there's no way we'll survive through the appeal without selling Glider.

Cross your fingers, guys. The boss is slivered and we are out of mana. Guh!

i'm unsure how MDY can justify themselves? As it is an exploit of the game and ruins experience for the community.
I myself would like MDY to win.

Everybody wants MDY to win, but if you take a look at the facts they have a small chance.

Their product is breaking the rules of World of Warcraft, also Blizzard is a MUCH bigger company.

My opinion is that MDY is gonna lose this. (Although i dont want it to happen)

This is total crap, yes what MDy is against the blizzardtwocents rule, but NO it is not against the LAW! If blizzard win they should also sue every AV since they read ram to detect virus.

The 9th CCA ruled a few minutes ago and denied our motion for stay. There's not a lot of legal analysis. In fact, there is no legal analysis at all. They just said no. I'm not sure what happens next, but it seems very likely that there will be no stay and MDY Industries will be shutting down in the coming weeks.

I'll post again here as I learn more, since this is still developing.
