In fact .. I will +Rep this guy just for making the effort to give us something to work with, and to give everyone else a little incentive to actually post some information for a change. We can only help so much.

Lol. Where you not having a problem with this bot a few days ago? But, suddenly your a professional! Amazing.

I did not code this bot, so I cant be positive that it doesn't help, but I know from coding that most of it is useless. The only helpful part is the last bit, which should be given when asked, not instantly so the debugger has to read through 150 lines to help him, and every time he returns to the page. Not to mention that he may accidentally skip someone when scrolling through.

For the person who originally posted this problem, try these steps.

1)Remove everything but AV from your startup
2)Cold boot your computer (Turn off completely for at least 30 seconds. This clears the transistors)
3) Run just wow.exe and mr.fishit. See if the error code occurs.
4) If it does. Turn off all injections, and go back to the manual 1-2-3 key bindings

The issue with this seems to be clear. Thanks to these lines (The helpful part)

A) Your memory is bad
B) Something is writing in Wow.exe's memory pool (Mr.Fishit during injection?)

hey i have been using this bot for some time.. but ONCE in a while.. NOT every time.. it will keep working but it just wont "click" the bobber.. it just runs the fishing cast til done and then recast.. but i just restart the program and it works for a time frame.. and once in a while it will run with out a problem.. is this an issue that you know of or are trying to figure out.. did you need anything from me.. to help you figure out whats happening on my end? is it only me that is experiencing this issue?

Lets try a few troubleshooting steps.

First. Maybe sure no other programs are running. Ensure that you have atleast one bag of free space.

Then I want you to disable all addons. Every one of them. Try running the bot again and watch for the problem. If it happens again. Disable all injection, make sure your keybindings are setup, and check your bag space again. Run the bot again.

If all of these steps fail. Post the debug mode.

Update* new version, pole and skillnames are now stored inside 2 xml files in the data/xml folder so if you are experiencing problem with it not being able to find the pole.
take a look in the debug window when it start's up and change the name in the xml file.
note* i didnt add any poles or skillnames for the CN, KR or TW client so you have to add it ureself

Hey Nesox, I have a question. I just downloaded your updated bot. However I am very much new at this whole thing(Fishing just got to damn mindless) I followed your installation and use directions to the best of my knowledge, but what I found after extraction was a Data file containing the sound and the lists of poles etc, as well as 2 seperate .DLL's and then the MrFishIt, I start up WoW, I start up MrFishIt, I configure my settings(not using injections) and when I click on the profile that is available, then press the fish picture button I get an error message and then a notification that MFI has to close.

Any help would be appreciated.





EDIT* I ended up getting it off my system and redownloading it, that appears to have fixed whatever problem was occuring. it is working great! Thank you much, I pressed your rep button ^_^


Further Edit* What kind of security measures can I take to make it less likely for me to get caught with this(excluding the obvious dont leave it running for unhuman lengths of time)

Rename the window title, dont leave it blank tho as that would freeze wow it needs to have a title or it wont be able to get the hwnd of the window so it wont know when to resume wow, also rename the *.exe and if you know how download a rootkit and hide the process i think fu would be the best bet if ure running xp

I have no idea what a rootkit is or how it works, I think I found the FU you were talking about in your link, however I went to go download it and my firefox freaked out telling me a bunch of crap about how it isnt a legitimate or good site 0.o

Anyway, Is there somewhere I could learn how to use a rootkit and whatnot to hide the MrFishIt?

And on a scale of 1 - 10 How unsafe is this Bot? (IE, How likely is it for Blizz to see that it is being used by me and ban my account?)

i think you need to check data/xml/Skillnames.xml
make sure skillname is correct.

In chinese client i got the same problem. I guess english client no problem so Nesox didn't find out this problem.
