I've tried it both ways, and it still behaves the same.

The issue appears to be the delay between the bobber bobbing, and the loot window popping up. If the fishing cast wears off before the window pops up, it just doesn't pop up.

Autoloot only seems to affect the behavior after the loot window pops up.

EDIT: A guy that posted on the bottom of page 62 seems to be having the same issue as me

This problem is not with the bot....

The bot works 100%. This is between the client/wow, either your computer is too slow to receive the popup, or the wow coding has been screwed up and needs to be fixed.

im having the same bobber problem and yes i have bad latency on my server and i have my prior lure set to 1750-2300 what should i set it at with my server. should i go higher or lower?

Try it a bit higher and just see, try .. 3000 - 7000 and jus see if there is any change.

The bot "should" do everything for you .. hoever .. if you are having a "specific" problem please give a little more detail. Also if you go back a few pages there is step by step instructions as to how to set up your bot for both Injection and non injection methods.

So it was working for me fine earlier today then it just stopped casting. If i cast myself it will catch the fish but won't recast. Also of I set it to injection it will cast but be extremely laggy.

It is still under development and because of that we are bound to still see some errors here and there. Are you able to restart the bot? Are you bags full? Are you fishing in an area that has un-castable water? (ie: Too close to a wall, too shallow?)

Also .. Injection "WILL" seem to lag you out a little bit. That is because rather than just press a key bind for you, Mr.Fishit. is actually interacting with Wow itself.

I fact one of the most common errors in Wow. I have in fact had this error before. After a thorough search on Google it would appear that (in the case of Mr.Fishit) you are "most likely" experiencing a memory issue. So here are a few questions for you.

Are you able to run other programs in the background? ie:Winamp, Firefox, media player?

Is MFI installed in it's own separate folder, NOT in the Wow directory?

Have you spent anytime researching other possible causes? .. like I said this is one of the "Most common" Wow errors.

YOU may consider it Annoying. However from the aspect of someone who tries VERY hard to get everyone up and running... this is BY FAR .. the smartest help request yet.

In fact .. I will +Rep this guy just for making the effort to give us something to work with, and to give everyone else a little incentive to actually post some information for a change. We can only help so much.

If you and your norep leecher friends are too lazy to read the actually thread, and or contribute to the disscussion. Please don't bother. Believe it or not ... we could do with a WHOLE LOT less of your type.

i thought you implemented something that made it able to get bind on pickup items. I just missed out on 2 giant sewer rat drops while watching the bot i even tried to manually press yes which did nothing and it just recasted and i missed them

This did NOT get implemented .. it was talked about .. just never happened. Though .. had you read all of the thread you would have known that .. as well as seen the 7 separate links to addons that do that for you .. (I just counted them) .. so ..

I've said it before and I'll say it again .. There are 66 pages to this thread. Surly you could take the time to read "some" of them .. before you make a fool out of yourself?

Interesting, I have successfully looted [Giant Sewer Rat] with the bot. I had WoW default auto-loot on, looting injection on, playing on patch 3.0.8.9506, and using MrFishIt v3.1.1. I am 100% sure I do not have any no BoP warning addons.

However, I am not sure if there is any BoP warning messages for the Sewer Rat. Double checking WoWHead, they claim that there is. I am conflicted...

Fair enough .. and I didn't mean to attack you as a person .. you just have to keep in mind that as a person that is trying on a regular basis, to help people get working and try to help take a bit of the load of of the author. That answering the same question over and over and over.. gets me.. whats the word you used? .. Flustered :P

Actually it DOES help, in a lot of cases the output is quite useful. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean its not useful to others.

I think he just meant taking up a whole page with the results was annoying when you could paste it at something like Pastebin and link it.

hey i have been using this bot for some time.. but ONCE in a while.. NOT every time.. it will keep working but it just wont "click" the bobber.. it just runs the fishing cast til done and then recast.. but i just restart the program and it works for a time frame.. and once in a while it will run with out a problem.. is this an issue that you know of or are trying to figure out.. did you need anything from me.. to help you figure out whats happening on my end? is it only me that is experiencing this issue?
