Hey I was wondering if anybody can help me, Im running with Windows Vista Home Premium, I have downloaded the Model edit (gnome female to horde races) from here: megaupload.com/?d=AP4HYHUU
I then proceeded to extract the files I wanted (Gnome female to undead Female) into my Data folder and rename the mpq part of the file to MPQ (caps) as it said in the readme.
I right click on WoWMe (Which is in my World of Warcraft folder) and select Run as Administrator, Everything launches fine, I get the cmd box telling me to press F8 and I do so, I then login... All my other characters look fine (Their original Races) but when I click on my gnome, All i get is a black background and no character, and when I login to the character my game just crashes
here is the error report im getting maybe it might help you figure out whats wrong.
Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Local\Temp\WERF028.tmp.version.txt
C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Local\Temp\WER80C.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Local\Temp\WER87B.tmp.mdmp
Hopefully someone can help!
Thanks
Matt.
*Edit* Nakkio You need to press F8 before you login (before you type your username and password) and then login...
Ok heres a few things you could try (If you already havnt)
Make sure that WoWMe is in the same directory as your World of Warcraft files
So
C://World Of Warcraft/WoWMe.exe
Also make sure you are running the program as administrator (Vista is retarded sometimes) To do this, Right click on the icon, and select run as administrator, let me know how you get on from there
Is there a software like this for Mac?
Worked flawlessly for me. Thanks!
