What's to update on? pentyera nailed it. It's an error in your DBCs. You probably ran the updater with your modifications in place and it's fused them together.

I removed my MPQs and WoWme before updating, and I still have the problem

My friend has no problems with it but yet I do. I didn't do anything different then him either.

I can start up the game with out the Fix just fine, no errors no version incompatibility, no nothing, runs like a champ.

But when I use the Fix to apply lets say NeF -> ScM the game wont load. The Dos script for the fix appears asking me to press F8 at login, but wow never loads. If I delete any custom MPQ's from my Data folder then load the fix it works fine.

Any cause as to why this might be happening like this? is the MPQ's I use too old? I dont have any idea what else it may be.. I deleted my cache and about to try downing the Suite, using the Model extract you have made and make my own MPQ for NeF -> ScM and see if it fixes. I have a feeling they may have changed some directories from the old files to the new ones.

Ill check back here in a few after I try this, any kind of support is welcome.. =)

** UPDATE ** If you CAN get new MPQ's anything old seems to be pulling errors. I was using the old poison proc along with a stable NeF - ScM fix and they cause the "error" per say with out anything actually coming up.

So if you use Glitchy's MES Suite, DO so and make new MPQ's if you have the problem i stated above.

Other than corrupt files, i imagine that the format may have changed.

All my fix does is literally give you the ability to load arbitrary files. Nothing more.

Yea im having some of the same issues. I tested it and it's the MPQ files. If they are out of date wowme won't load the wow launcher. I have other MPQ's that I've tried and those seem to work fine. Sucks I can't find the ones I need though =/

I had the same issue. No need to re-install or anything, just remove the patch.MPQ file you once downloaded from Mmowned.com and it works perfect.

I did not find out this myself, so you really shouldn't credit me, in case it works.

does that mean that if u place it back and then press the f8 will still restore ur edit settings or it will just run the game at its original state.
