i cant remove this becouse my wow keeps crashing on char screen after deleting the exe and the mpq-s. any suggestions?

I have the same problem as all of these people, my game crashes as the model edit works, i have like 10 seconds to play WoW and then everything goes black and i get an ERROR, I have never ever had any problems with Model Editing before...

I've been having the same problem with the fix. The game still loads and stuff, but it later crashes and gives the WoW error. My guess is Blizzard is makin sure your WoW.exe gets muffed up if you keep using the fix. I hope we can get a more updated version with the upcoming major patch, maybe we can work around it.

This entire page of error reports are due to your actual model edits. Go do some research.

I am with a problem. Im in privates but it gives me the blizzard warning of the detected model edit fix. Anyone knows how to solve this??

i fully reinstalled the whole wow and the game still crushes in char screen, with no modeledit at all, its happening since i first used it some days ago.. gg.

this ^^ I deleted the scan.dll and it runs...anyway I can add a line to delete it everytime?

Works like a charm, but i have problem with Scan.dll file, so i delete it and it works normal..

Go to your w0w folder and look for "Scan.dll". Right-click and choose open or open with then select Notepad. Delete everything inside then save it. Then right-click Scan.dll and click properties. Check the box to make it Read Only and select apply. You might have a another window pop up and say that the change could not be completed in Summary, just ignore this and close it. After you login or open w0w check the w0w folder for "Scan.dll.new" or a second Scan.dll file. For the second just change it to Read Only and the problem should be solved.

is there anyway to use both wowme.exe and sockscap at the same time? wowme works fine but i need to start it from sockscap to lower my ping but it keeps giving an error, any help will be really appreciated...
