An update on Pokémon GO account bans

Lol, On the other hand, I received my termination letter today after weeks of "unable to authenticate". But why does my PTC account still active?!! I want to get my username back!

Don't worry, people are quickly losing interest in the game. I've read that they are loose 15million players so far. One thing probably coz the botters are banned.

I've got 9 accounts banned so far since the first day launching in Malaysia.
the first five accounts was used for testing on bots. I've got bot non-stop running, max within 72 hours I got banned.

Later, I try to slow down on botting, was like 8 hours a day, and less than 7 days, both got terminated.

For the another 2 accounts, i stop using bot, i play less than 2 hours a day(it actually covered like 6 hours of botting time), with snipers and simulator (for collecting supplies and attack gym only) , and both survived with my best record. 24th day now.

I wouldn't say I am safe, but it still survive for now.

If you're using VPN disable it. If you're still getting that message then yes you are.

Hahahah can't believe there are still bot users wasting time to level up and get banned soon. XD Come'on people. XD There is no updated API and you all will get banned soon. Oh my GOD!

i am not using any vpn ...so there is no chance of me getting back my account...then i guess i hv to giveip on pokemon for gud

The weird thing is not everyone has been banned, some few of us are still alive despite all bots are down.
My account is still up, I'm level 29 but I think it's just a matter of time before i get ban too.
We can't avoid the ban hammer and Niantic will never stop banning cheaters like they always did.

Running PokeWatch to post pokemon locations to Twitter. Been entering captchas to keep them going. But today all the accounts got banned. Made new ones to replace them, but they all got banned within the first hour.

Niantic just forced ANOTHER security update. On top of captcha. FFS.

Sorry for asking, but how do you check if your account has been banned? By phone, by bot or...?
I had 3 account running Herobot on different periods different regions, one in US regions started getting 'No usable PokeStops found in your area. Is your maximum distance too small?' after latest security roll out.
Did not run the other two after, but how do I check them now?
Have not received any mails about ban or termination.
