They are not banned, just being reset to level 1..interesting part is that my sniped pokemon remain while the others are gone. So I'm now level 1 with a few dragonites & snorlaxes. LoL-

i personally tested, that niantic ban based on ip,
i have few account bot to lv20, that day i try running with fly gps, my wife first test the fly gps too
we using under same wifi, and her been ban after restart the game,
my wife is low level legit player, so i think niantic will ban either 1 ppl with same ip but locate at different location
and my lv20 bot account still working until today and its bot to lv20 within 8 hours

1 account(out of 6) using haxton, snipe here and there still working fine. it's now playing legit dont know how long it can go.
created a few accounts botted with necro 0.86 & GoManagers now lv 25~28 for 2 weeks now no problem.

1 of my acc I began with nox and a specific version of a pokemon go app, in the beginning I thaught it would be a safe way to cheat(nox): Log out my acc and wait (+-as long as I need to get to the airport), than spawn in the airport(by using nox) after that stay few(3-5) min online and then log out and wait ( as long as you need to reach your destination) and so on... But I'm lazy as f@#%! and I hate waiting.
This is my first acc I use it in combo with catchem, nox and quickspin. Several times been banned(poke flee, pokestops no xp), this happened when I spawned with nox somewhere in the US. I logged out and waited a couple of hours (2-4). When I logged in I was already unbanned. F@#% waiting, so i found quickspin.
Still running that acc lvl27, not that much xp/h but still catching em all
And I don't know what to do, to profit or to wait, because I don't know how much xp you may earn in how much time.
I argue about the delays too, i think it's not normal if you catch 20 pokemon in one minute so make sure your delays aren't screwed up

Level 27, only used nox to check out and verify "nests" then went to actual location and played legit at physical location. No letter from Niantic just "unable to authenticate". Banned since 13:00 8-23-16. Hopefully just under review and will get my acct back. Should have been using a secondary to check out nests, stupid me.

Yup. NOX is not safe. Anyone that uses it will get unable to authenticate. I was level 25+ when it hit me right after I updated from 0.33.0 to 0.35.0. You will be flagged as a botter (even though you aren't) and they put you in manual review.

Nobody knows if that means you will be permabanned. You will just have to wait and see if you get the ban e-mail. Sit back and enjoy your vacation

If Niantic were banning based on IP then there would be a flood of legit players banned who used public wifi spots.
I have not heard that to be the case.

i agree. Niantic cant be that dumb to ban an IPs. although i had experienced the soft ban on ip (no pokestops gyms pokemons using that particular ip on a certain amount of time.)
still, bot accounts are still not safe for now.

I still have 2 accounts at lvl 19 and 18. for now.

Two level 38 that survived? I envy that! That is lucky man, where do you "hunt" for your accounts? Perhaps I just need to make a large numbers of accounts and hope some survive. Thanks mate for answering

Well. I tested to bot 4 accounts using necrobot and hackermon. And all those 3 acconts reached. 2 lvl 30 - 2- lvl 28. Never been softbanned or anything. Necro and hackermon was on for 8 hours and i will stop botting for 5 hours and continue again.. u will never get soft banned or perma banned i think as long as you stay on one location....when 2 of my accounts reached lvl 30. I waited for a day to open it up on my current location... so just a friendly adviced. For you guys thats using this bots. Stay on one location till u reached the lvl u want your account to be.. and if ur done with botting. Wait atleast for 12 hours to oppen it on your current location.. thats the best thing. Avoid swiching places or jumping from country to countries..

I wonder how long this will take. I think me and some friends are under review for spoofing. I haven't gotten an email. My old username is still unavailable and I still have a dragonite in a gym. Level 24 I think it was 90% legit. Was looking for a scanner app but it ended up being a spoofing app and I couldn't resist haha. Exact same for my 2 friends. We were all careful to not travel too fast. I think I was soft banned twice. It's been about 3 weeks now. I was able to get my money back after calling Google Apps. (855) 836-3987 this is the customer support number if anyone needs it. I've been spoofing like crazy from country to country with the new account lvl 15 now with a 1500 dragonite playing sparingly. Not sure how to bot really but I may give it a try and make a bunch of accounts. Was going to buy one but it seems to sketchy right now.

Same here. There are quite a few people that were flagged for review. I think anyone that spoofed "safely" was flagged and not outright banned. Who knows how long it will take Niantic to actually make a decision.

after reading the newest banned news from niantic, i download again pokemon go, and try to login with my "banned" account (despite cant login and failed to authenticate, i never received banned email)

and voila, my "banned" account is back to normal again with all its glory

my pokemon go account before it got banned :

- android 5.0.2 rooted with Xposed installed
- never ever EVER login on NOX or any PC emulator
- level 29
- 3 dragonite lvl 2900, evolve from a LOTS of dratini whom i got the location from skipplagged
- install POKEMON LIVE app from skipplagged (i think this one app that got me banned)
- root pokemon related app : FAKE GPS
- xposed pokemon app : POKEMON GO IV checker, POKEMON GO controls
- 99% always on fake gps/pokemon go control, 1% on foot
- couple of pokemon cp 1800ish at gym
- got a LOTS of soft ban, and ip ban (at my office wifi)
- never jump out of country, max jump radius within 50km

so i guess that fake gps + iv checker + rooted phone + lots of soft ban doesnt banned you, install pokemon location app does

while waiting this banned season is over, i'll try to play legit for couple weeks
