Depends on how much time you have.
Legit Acc was Lvl 32 - took me less than a month to get there (approx 6hrs daily and 15km walking distance).
Botted Acc 1, Level 29 (banned) - took me 2 Weeks (botting 3 hrs / day)
Botted Acc 2, Level 26 (still fine) - 4 days (botting 8-10h / day)
Botted Acc 3, Level 22 (still fine) - 4 days )botting 4-6h / day)

So: Yes you might be faster, even if you bot with humanlike settings. Still, with the exp I got, I could probably get to Level 30 in <3 Weeks if I play 6-8 hrs / day (legit play I mean).

Yes you could. I can attest to that. I played legit all the way to level 27 putting in 6 to 8 hours and longer on the weekends in about 3 weeks of play. It's possible. I started botting at level 27 and got shut down once I hit 29 with necro bot.

What is unfair is the permaban! Ok, u caught me? Give me a weekly ban, advertising me that the next time it will be result in a permaban and i won't use 3rd part programs again! Give me a sort of red ribbon, i don't know, but this istant permaban isn't fair at all! I have botted another account (it's a week that is running around my house) at the same level of my "almost totally legit" banned account, but it's not the same! If Niantic won't give me back my main account i'm out of this game, with the worst company ever seen in the world (Niantic). They've done shit since the release...

Don't be stupid please, actually Niantic didn't ban a legit accounts, all people complaining about this was cheaters that used many account, or login with their legit account but BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that if a full legit player says he has been banned for no reason he's a liar.

Please, don't judge without knowing details.
Nearly everybody might have violated Niantics ToS (IV-Calc Apps, Pokemon Tracker, and so on) but several BEFORE Niantic announced Hard Bans for this behaviour.
Changing your ToS to make formerly tolerated (or only slightly punished) behaviour "illegal" is the crime of Niantic. And please don't tell me this "it's their product so they can do whatever they want" bs.

Botting / spoofing should be punished somehow. I agree (even if I do it).
Usefull Apps / Trackers not affecting gameplay (bc you have to do what Pogo wants you to: Go outside and hunt 'em down manually) should not be punished the same way.
Also botting & cheating should be watched with some common sense. As there are many different Pokemons in my City (400 Magicrap Candies, 15 Dratinis in 6 hrs is not uncommon), this is not a Problem for me but for many others.

Im sure 100% will get permaban, but i dont mind since im already fill my pokedex with 145 pokemon in my tiny account ... lol. I dont want to play legit too haha

Botting since 15th of August. Lvl 22 and Lvl 26

1. My main account lv27 i play 5-8h daily with nox, mostly stay in one spot, once a day move max 50km to farm gold from gyms, got around 3 softbans in total since game release. BANNED yesterday (google)
2. My second accound, lv5, softbanned more than 20 times i go around wold to snipe for rares. Still working. (google)
3. My current account with nox lv9, i stay in one spot only farm XP from pokestop. Play for 30 minutes then random hours brake. Second day still playable. (ptc)

I've been unable to log in to my account for about 3 days now. The ban and "failed to get data" message hit me about 30 mins to an hour after reaching level 29. I had "help" leveling about 6 levels, but from 28-29, that was all me, all legit.

I'm wondering if I'm crazy to hold out hope.....it's a trainer account, not a google one....I never received ban e-mail....I can log-in to pokemon website with trainer account.....my two children's accounts under mine are working just fine.....and I can see that my pokemon is still holding a nearby gym. If my account was demolished, wouldn't my pokemon at the gym have gone *poof*?

I botted 20 accounts to lvl 26 2 weeks ago and all but 2 got banned in the second banwave.
But my own lvl 30 account on which I hacked and sniped like a maniac (even the day before the banwave) is still not banned..

they wait a certain grace period for wrongful bans before removing ur acct usually.
