this is a niantic idea, but... nintendo knows the permaban? maybe, but we are caiming all the money spent in game purchases... nintendo must be angry with niantic because niantic makes lose money to nintendo and google hahahahah

Funny how some people get this kind of idea just for the sake of optimism like the possibility of being unbanned because Nintendo is angry.
Botters who spend $$ are just the very few minority, they already made millions and the effect will be barely noticeable.

I understand that cities are better place for playing this game, sadly cheating is impossible now they know all cheating methods, nothing is safe except playing legally.

What is unfair is the permaban! Ok, u caught me? Give me a weekly ban, advertising me that the next time it will be result in a permaban and i won't use 3rd part programs again! Give me a sort of red ribbon, i don't know, but this istant permaban isn't fair at all! I have botted another account (it's a week that is running around my house) at the same level of my "almost totally legit" banned account, but it's not the same! The only error in your logic I'm finding is that the soft ban IS the warning before the permanent ban. If you continue to bot or snipe or run an account through a means that is not manual especially after you've circumvented the soft ban by spinning the stops 40 times to be able to play, then the permanent ban is appropriate. I think they have piss poor communication channels and the way that they are getting information out about the game and changes etc is what sullies the experience. The soft ban IS the warning.

Depends on how much time you have.
Legit Acc was Lvl 32 - took me less than a month to get there (approx 6hrs daily and 15km walking distance).
Botted Acc 1, Level 29 (banned) - took me 2 Weeks (botting 3 hrs / day)
Botted Acc 2, Level 26 (still fine) - 4 days (botting 8-10h / day)
Botted Acc 3, Level 22 (still fine) - 4 days )botting 4-6h / day)

So: Yes you might be faster, even if you bot with humanlike settings. Still, with the exp I got, I could probably get to Level 30 in <3 Weeks if I play 6-8 hrs / day (legit play I mean).

Don't be stupid please, actually Niantic didn't ban a legit accounts, all people complaining about this was cheaters that used many account, or login with their legit account but BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that if a full legit player says he has been banned for no reason he's a liar.
