can you share what lvl and did you battle gyms?

because I think they ban also many acc. because of reports from legit user who see bottet accounts in gym...

for now just stay away from gym. i remember got banned just 6 hrs after taking down 4-5 gyms in my area

Gym fights isn't the only criteria that they use, as there are several cases of unused botted accounts being banned. Some of my accounts that were never used in a gym fight got banned as well.

I didn't took any gym and was banned on the first wave last Friday. I'm not saying that taking a Gym is not a flag but for sure Niantic has some way to detect who's using the official client and who's not.

I think DeviceID also is a big part of the detection. Almost nobody changes this or knows how or couldn't be bothered.

I think most people just want to watch the account grow with stats and enjoy the botting rather than playing the game.

I just enjoy capturing Pokemon not realy want to play the game , attack gym etc

I really don't think it has anything to do with taking over Gyms, I have taken 10 gyms in my botted 30+ account last few days and still I am able to login and play.
Account full of high level Dragonites and other strong pokemons.

I think the process is automated and based on different calculations accounts get flagged then banned.

I'm actually pretty sad. I've legit never succesfully botted for more then 10 minutes. Maybe gotten like 50K exp outof botting in general (mostly because the bot did evolves for me which was a blessing). What I did tho is play at Central Park for a while (1 day, like 2-3 hours) but this was like on day 5 (July 17th orso).. I was level 17 orso at that point (peanuts exp, a joke honestly) and now I've done nothing but go out and walk and play and I was about to hit 29 Bam, banned.

Anyhow, I had it coming. Shouldn't have done it. No reason to be mad. Necro did a good job I guess making the bot. Too bad it's also what got us all banned

Automated maybe yes, but no need for calculation, just use randomize() function lol

My level 30 account got flagged (catch flee) while sniping Lapras and Snorlax on friday.
The catch flee went away with a few hours and I botted & sniped the following 3 days.
I disabled sniping rare pokémons and was only sniping perfect Eevees.

Today morning I went back to sniping rare pokémons (Snorlax, Lapras, Dragonite) and got perma-banned within 1 hour.

Also, Ive been taken gyms with that account for the past 2 weeks. Already had 1.500 coins only from gyms.

It's not just about necro, every kind of bots and 3rd party app like nox also getting banned.

Your account is tainted once you illegally accessed their API. Doesn't matter how long you botted.

This was most likely the problem. You were earning enough to not have to spend real money in the shop.

I´m not talking about the automated process.
I mean if you take a gym anyone can see your acc. and if it is let´s say 35+ with a 3k Dragonair, other player will thing it is a bottet acc. and will report is.
and thats maybe why some of us got their acc. banned after the first wave....
