This way, the legit users will feel much better because they can do more than those bots account and people who bots can still collect their favorite monsters from home so they should be happy too.. Most importantly, Nintendo will not lose a huge user base by doing that. Those people who bots for a reason, either they don't have time to walk around, or they just simply are not living in such an area that they can do it, but one thing for sure, they love this game. It's stupid to shut off the people who loves your game and that would be a stupidest thing a gaming company would do.. not mention those people will appreciate such a nice gesture and spread the good things about the company. Anyway, there must be solution in which every one is okay or happy instead of what we have now. Nintendo, it's not a wise move..
They don't want to be DDOS by the people with 50+ accts :/ So die every bots logic is the one they are using

I think you mean "Niantic" not Nintendo here...

thanks for the correction. I can imagine that Niantic must have invested a lot of time and effort in tracking down the bots, but it didn't really go anywhere. It will only make people bot smarter or leave the game completely with upset.... either way it's a waste...and loss to the company.

The only reason i used the Bot and Fly GPS, was because my 5 years old son was the one playing the game... no real chance for him to get a lot of Pokémon, nor going out for hunting. Was really sad when he knew loosed all of the Pokémons he did get by himself.

True, but it should tolerate the people who just can't do that for whatever reasons. Blocking them out doesn't seems to be a right solution..

So yeah, My level 26 account I havent botted or sniped on since Last wednesday has been banned lol. There isnt any hiding from niantic. I was pretty positive I dodged the banwave. I didnt even have high level dragonites or anything past the 1800 level. I did however snipe.. like, alot.
So yeah. Just a warning. Even if you THINK youre account isnt suspicious. You still can get canned. Whatever. Im gonna make 2 more accounts and start over

Not really, if the bots account are restricted from gym battle and trading later. Al what they can do is to collect the monster, it will not harm the game and legit users at all....and botters will get bored and leave the game automatically...once they collected all the monsters...

My final botted account that I was going VERY slowly on got IP banned this morning, so it is probably only a matter of time. Too bad, I kind of liked the concept behind this game but with the closest pokestop 1 mile away and the closest gym 5 miles, just not going to grind this game out. That is the inherent flaw in this game, not all players have the same ability to advance. I personally can't think of another game with this flaw. Rip pogo...

Im thinking they know 100% sure if botting; but they just ban randomly to create some confusion.
Because lets face it, there is no silver lining what so ever! Everything seems random, and if it wasnt we probably would have found by now.

If the game is designed such way that bots account can't battle gym or trade later, I don't see why people needs 50 accounts at the same time. It's all about the coins and powers, isn't it?

with every botter havin an average of 3~4 accounts, if they delete all the bot accs the investors will have a heart attack. our accs still exist in their database, evey botted acc still exists. that way they can say: look we have 10 million accounts, we are a success and everyone loves us. In a few weeks when they show the ACTIVE playerbase to their game, the investors will flip their shit
