Niantic just released a system to verify if you are banned, or if the login issue is due to a server error. I assume this is due to the rapid amount of emails they have been receiving.

Guys I am elaborating a theory here, just answer this question please:

Players who encounter: Failed to get game data from the server.

Have you changed the nickname of the player recently and if yes was the new nickname a duplicate of another account that you had previously?
(Or it is possible that it was a duplicate of another player's nickname, but for some reason the game overwrote the accounts and so we can't enter the game, because on the backend there is an error and incosistency between the ID and the account)

Then legit players would be complaining if this were the case.

Just start a new account guys, I gave up on my banned account and made 2 new account.

First account : Botted until lvl23 which took me about 12hours and have stopped botting that account (Haven't encountered any problem with this yet)
Second account : Still botting have been up and running for more than 24 hours, haven't encountered any problem or soft-ban yet. Also sniped on it a bit.

What I did is, I used my "Task Scheduler" which is available in every windows machine, and set it to stop my bot every 4 hours and then start it again after 30 minutes.
Another way to do this is to download "System Scheduler" which is easier to set up.

This assumption is the mother of all **** ups.

If people are still botting while the ban wave is ongoing, then they must be retards

On new accounts not the ones that existed before the banwave. If Niantic are banning then either they are banning every botting account slowly in some order, or they cannot ban a lot of bots because they haven't been identified.

If it's the former then it doesn't matter when we start our new accounts; they will be banned eventually. If it's the latter then making the new account with human-like settings is the best bet to avoid being identified.

I know quite a few that hard having the same login issue. They don't post here because they think it's related with the apk sideload and an issue with the 0.33.0.

Some people still have Note II's and they can't get the game from the play store. Another friend while we were out has this message and I tease her saying she was banned for being so gimp .

there are legal players who get the same error.

Our voice is louder, because we are active on the web, they are casual players and when they get the error they say "meh... **** this"
