THIS IS WORKING

1. reinstall the game so you will be able to log in again
2.create new acc in specs u had (ptc/gmail) log into game with fresh new acc, catch new starter( must be same u caught at your original acc) then submit THE SAME USERNAME U HAD ON YOUR MAIN ACC,u will get error the username is not available.!!! immediately close app!!
3.reinstall game once again, use your main acc login and password and boom u are ingame with your acc !!!

Is anyone else botting getting an occasional restricted response from the Go server?

Well I have a question. I bought this botted account. And of course I'm get the the "failed to retrieve game data from server" message. Now, do I go and buy a new botted account? Or just wait out the storm and see what happens after a few days?

I wouldn't recommend you buying another account because just like it was said before you'll get the same result at some point...
If this is tracking back all the botters and banning people, of course you gonna spend money on nothing because that account will too be banned anytime.
So before we're certain of what is going on don't buy anything...

Personally, I'd advise to just wait out until we know, what's causing the login issues for sure. If it's a ban, then you might want to buy a new account, but unless you really want to play right now, might as well wait and see what happens.

Confirmed NOT working. Don't waste your time folks. If by some miracle this did work it's because you were un-perma banned the exact same time you completed these BS steps.

no one got un-permabanned yet from failed to get data from server, only this steps worked for me.

Niantic just released a system to verify if you are banned, or if the login issue is due to a server error. I assume this is due to the rapid amount of emails they have been receiving.
