keep getting failed to get game data from the server error help!

Botters make up a maximum of 20% of the playerbase in my opinion. However, I do believe at least 35% of the Pokemon Go accounts belong to those who cheat/cheated.

I get the "failed to get data from server" error since the 14th of August.
I've got a level 25 account, I only botted once, 2-3 weeks ago, for something like 2 hours, and gained a level (from 22 to 23), but I've been using nox occasionally in my hometown to get gyms (only once accidentally I forgot to change the settings so I suddenly appeared in australia, got a softban), and Rocket AP in order to check the IVs of my mons and transfer them accordingly.
So I'm mostly a legit player (at least not a bot), but not innocent. It sucks to lose my one and only account.
Some people suggested if the username is not available, my data is not lost. I made a dummie account and indeed, my username is not available, so there's that.
When I connect with ALL G, my account level is zero, stardust and pokecoins still intact.
Not sure though that all these are solid evidence. Probably not.
Would you suggest to make a bot account at least until I reach my previous lv and collect some mons, at least when the ban wave subsides? If so, with what client and settings?

I am not sure about the actual numbers, but I read somewhere that their numbers were pointing to 50% cheaters (boters, spoofers, etc)
If their numbers are 50% I say they are lying and the actual number is actually much higher

all of us (banned with Google acc ) can do - Please Turn off all rights to app pokemon go.
this will show to niantic that we are not agree with their policy anymore.

Actually....
Update on Maintaining and Running the Pokemon GO Service
The chart suggests that 2/3 of the activity is carried out by those who violate ToS. Interesting.

I'm pretty sure 2/3 of the activity doesn't mean 2/3 of the accounts belong to 'cheaters' though. The stuff we use are generally faster than the game client, so they exchange data with the server with more intensity, resulting in more queries. Then again, I'm still convinced that at least 35% of the accounts belong to cheaters looking at the chart, which is a pretty big amount in my opinion.

I am entertaining the possibility, that they are baning all bot accs to create server space for new regions, so they will not have the need to buy more servers immediately. Are they getting that desperate for cash?

I suppose an upside to this huge ban wave is that the level 30+ accounts that survive with ultra-rares will probably sell for a very nice sum in the near future. Right? Right??
Being a half-full glass kinda guy, I guess.

Somehow I feel that with the revenue that they possibly have at this point (being one of the world's most popular apps I'm sure), they probably wouldn't have any issues buying a little bit more space. They probably don't really care at this point - Their only goal (at least IMO) is to get rid of ToS violators, oh and of course expanding their market. I don't think that space has anything to do with it though.
