hi guys, i just want to share what i've got so far,i have two accounts, one with google play account and the other with PTC,
I played legit on my google accounts from lvl 1-20, on my PTC, i was botting from 1 to 30, yesterday i spoof (with nox), farming pokestop with masterball bot and snipe some pokemon manually, and this morning i can't login with my ptc accounts ( failed to get game data from the server). But my google account work well. First, i think that PTC server is down and google work, but my friend, who did bot on google accounts, couldn't login this morning too. So, in my opinion, my account was banned because im using bot, but idk for how long. it's been 5 hours since i cant login this morning.

After Niantic changed the API the guys from Reddit needed 4 days to crack the "new API".

They noticed that the servers from Niantic are not only asking for your position, they are also asking for your height.

Since the Reddit guys were just interested in cracking the API and not into supporting a growing botting community, they did not changed the "height" value.

So we are moving around with our bots and our height doesn't change, it doesn't matter if we are in the Netherlands or catching Pokemon on the Mount Everest.

So in my eyes, all people are talking about human behavior of bots, changing speed and how clever they are that they did not get caught.
If someone is clever he should fix that problem inside the API and maybe we can **** this shitty company again!

Of course not all will be banned on one day, it take it's time to filter and proof millions of accounts, but just this fact should make it very easy for Niantic to detect everyone using a bot, even if it was only for one hour.

It seems they ban you for just logging in on 2 accounts with the same IP. and then once that IP has been marked all the accounts you log in to next will be banned except for the first one you logged in with.

If you log in to a banned account on a new IP your new IP will then be marked and ban all the accounts following that you try to log in with. Making it impossible to use any account on that new IP and flag all your accounts for the ban if you keep trying to use it on other accounts.

It kind of works like a virus.

The thing that makes me think they will reverse it eventually is because there are a ton of ways legit players can be tagged like this.

in a manner, they made an official announcement regarding botting earlier.
However, they did not 100% say the reason the error of "failed to retreive data from server" was due to you being banned.

Yes, if you send a message to that Ban Appeal, they will send you a message in return stating your account has been banned. Regardless of whether you actually have a Pokemon Go account on that email address with the selected ingame nickname, or not.

They will reply, that your nonexistant account is to be considered banned!
