well im pretty sure its a goner by now. 4+ full days wiuth the data error and when i try to make a new loggin the screen name is taken
so yah ban/deleted or a rlly fuked up misstake by niantic which i dont think it is

Well I have found out that the number 650-539-4653 is positively John Hanke's phone number, it's his name on the voicemail. The other number still just says "The google subscriber is not available" at any rate, no one answers either number. I am going to keep trying, even though I believe it's in vain. I mean yea I cheated and I deserved what I got, but I also deserve an explanation, in the event that they were wrong. (That don't know otherwise).

I got the catch flee ban early Friday morning and it was resolved/lifted later on in the evening. I played manually all day Saturday and Sunday (morning), but by about 10 pm last night my account would not allow me to log in. I got the "Failed to get..." error message, and am still receiving it as of right now. There's a lot of discussion about what's happening and without official word, it's hard to say what's what. But from my own personal experience of going 6+ hours of being soft banned then able to play to what appears to be denial of access (or some sort of long lasting if not permanent ban) as of last evening, I think it would be good to just wait things out. The part that is most frustrating is that I spent lots of money and hours literally, walking and manually playing all the way up to level 27 (real talk, I played without a bot all the way up to level 27), and so this appears to be one of those things where they've thrown down the gauntlet. I can't be too angry with anyone but myself after all of that hard work because I chose to try a bot through level 27 and 28 on my main account. That was a blockhead move after all of that work. I should have just kept playing manually.

I noticed a few people thinking this is a 7 day ban. I'm not convinced.
I stopped botting nearly 2 weeks before this data error started.

When the API changed, I simply stopped cheating... Heck, I hadn't even opened the app on my phone since the API changed. (Got bored of the game after I had a 100iv dragonite with perfect moves and maxed the CP for my level. (level 33)

So I moved on.. didn't think much of it. And then I heard about this data error.. So I opened pokemon go on Friday... Sure enough. My account has the same problem.

So my million dollar question is... why would they give a temp 7 day ban to my inactive account that hasn't played for over 7 days? because that would somehow teach me?

I'm curious to know their logic for how they're handling this. One thing I totally agree with you on though is that once I bagged that 100 IV Dragonite and the region specifics, I started asking myself "Now what motivation do you have to play now?" Also too, I put that dragonite in a gym early yesterday and I could tell that folks riding around trying to take it down were getting angry so I may very well have been reported. I truly do not know.

You do make sense, but this doesn't quite mean "it's not a X day ban" from my point of view. They surely have enough data to see who cheated, and it is very likely (almost certain) that the banning process is automated, meaning that the ban-bot could be banning "everyone who cheated for X days".

I botted the last time wednesday, Thursday playing with my phone, friday,saturday, sunday... Today. And still no ban ( 1-30 with haxton and never put 2k+ on gyms) maybe niantic
Only is banning people who was reported and who log any bot Thursday > today?

Created an account, botting since Saturday, still no ban. I did not use it on my phone since lvl 24 to select team and take over a gym, and now still botting.
Also i cannot register an account with the same mail or username i used to create my main character(this one is banned "failed to..")

Yup, my 31 lvl account has been banned. Second account 22 lvl is fine. But honestly, this game is boring and not even worth of wasting time. In pokemmo u can at least chat :shh:
