cool, nice change to MMOwned imo

If we have a dead bawx now then that would shine a ray of decline in the total usage of the website. In the past the box was used and almost never dead, however now the box goes dead at least once every few days for a couple hours or so. I think this has alot to do with what blizzard has done to the game but thats all my opinion anyways +rep to apoc for all the new things he has put in :] and i think they are all great.

If you're a donator; you only need 50 posts IIRC. Otherwise; yes.

Assuming for a moment, that I had enuf rep to see it, would I still be able to hide the shawt box? Or would I need to use the "Remove this permanently" firefox addon?

You would be able to remove it in your usercp

While we understand that the change in reputation requirements to be able to chat in the shoutbawx may seem unfair to those that have worked hard to gain their 80 reputation or donation status, we believe that it is for the better.
The idea behind the change of heart is that the bawx have had some times where it was kinda dead, this will change with more members being able to see it and will bring more of a bigger community feeling into MMOwned.
At the same time we are discussing other changes to MMOwned, but I will not say what yet since we are still brainstorming, discussing and listening to feedback and suggestions from our highly valued Donators and contributors.

I hope that the members who feel that upset about the change in shoutbawx requirements can understand why we changed it and eventually share our thoughts on the subject again..

I look forward to seeing the new members in the shoutbawx, remember to read the rules before starting to chat in it as it could shorten your stay if you are not aware of the rules.

The shoutbox is now more active. No more deadbawx so stoneharrys soul will wither and die.
