If u guys can dig down the root cause of this increase CPU usage, I can look at the code.
Let me which component of poehud increases the CPU usage..... or which plugin

I'm pretty sure this is NOT the cause.. its just weird timing. This was the first time I've gotten a "virus" warning to pop up when unzipping this program. I know its been discussed as shown as a false positive. And now people talking about high CPU usage... has me a bit nervous. I want to make it perfectly clear I am NOT accusing the creator/maintainer of foul play. I love this program and I appreciate the people who have worked on it

GGG definitely messed up on something... all these posts of people being banned the instant they level up lol.

I've never used the program before the update but do get that warning too, plus it lags my system when I run it to a crawl and cuts over 100 fps off my game. No idea why. I have the flask/autoquit plugins installed.

Usually when you have FPS issues with hud but a really nice system like yours, it means there's something making the cpu load much worse than it typically is. For example if your virus scanner has a real-time protection mode and is fairly strict, could be double checking everything hud does constantly. TL;DR i would exclude hud from any virus scans or system monitoring. Also might help to go through and toggle off all hud features and test each one for how heavily they use the cpu, could help narrow down the problem

Thanks for the suggestions bcz, I actually have to disable my realtime scanning to launch the file as it auto quarantines it if I don't. So I know that isn't the issue. I did disable all options/plugins one by one, but noticed no difference unfortunately. The only thing that does the trick is to close the hud.

Certain virus scanners do. You have to white-list it on your AV. You can also compile it yourself, which usually prevents a virus scanner from catching it.
